The part of today that tells you what you need to know is this.

With all the DL Bama signed, Sophser was the BOTTOM guy on their board, and he still went, even when LSU has a much clearer and easier path to the field.

And just wait til you see what the Spring available roster looks like, with no guarantee it will get deeper come Sept.

How is it a bad Post ? Keep pumping that sunshine and Saban will keep winnng the West . You want to win you have to win the battles we lost today .

I don’t think Soni is great by any means at all. I’m saying we took care of what was in front of us. It wasn’t a great day like I said. The OP is acting like we lost 15 commits, and didn’t sign anyone.

Some of you are ridiculous. This a damn good class. You missed on one guy. A big one, no doubt. But we lost one kid to Alabama that we wanted from Louisiana

Okay, but why did Saban sign him?

Because there is potential there. If he can unlock it, great, if not, at least LSU doesn't get the chance.

Saban doesn't just recruit to make Bama good. He recruits to hurt his biggest opponents. He's been doing it for years.

LSU literally signed 8 of the Top 10 in Louisiana.

This. The losers on this board always think the one that got away was "the one" we needed, and ignore the studs we sign. STFU with that weak sauce. We cleaned up on La talent this year, but missed out on ONE 4 star fat boy we wanted and now the sky is falling? SAD!

Does that mean he has the chest or no chest?

Not sunshine pumping. I said it wasn’t a great day. It wasn’t bad either.

Ish serves Saban better on his bench than he would on our field.

Do you really need it spelled out?

I’m telling you, the early signing period has spoiled these fricktards. Can you imagine today if ALL of our 19 early signees also signed? Emery, stingley, brooks? I mean come the frick on people

But Saban will scare the lazy out of him. That’s probably what the barber told him.

Question motor but you would’ve jizzed your pants had he committed to LSU. Best DL in the state.

i'm not spinning shite when I aver we had a damn good day and a great class overall.

sorry we weren't perfect but the sky is not falling. bama is our nemesis and has been since Saban arrived. it is what it is.

yes, we need to improve in signing OL and DL but we damn sure didn't whiff at either position. lots of times people forget each years team is comprised of at least 3 years worth of recruits and we aren't chopped liver on either side of the ball for the upcoming season.

Not bad. Definitely not as bad as the second period last year. However, it’s hard to not be disappointed when they couldn’t get one of three D Linemen they focused on, and all three went to West rivals. There is nothing positive about that. O did well elsewhere and thank God he got Ika and the way things planned out probably forced us in a good direction going back to Parker, but he didn’t impress with line recruiting this cycle.

O HAS to get rid of Meatball. He has to hold someone accountable for losing this many head to head D Line battles over three years. Has to.
