No bad surprises is best part of the day so far

It always seemed like we lost a key guy or two at last minute last 3-5 years. This was not just with bebe but with Les too. We know bebe discovered some treacherous self dealing rats in our midst which makes me wonder if they were the true source of so much of our signing day woes. An insider or too working against you and selling your commitments to your rivals is as bad as it gets. Can’t say for sure that is what happened but there were those rumors and it seems like the bullshite has mostly stopped now. Geaux Tigers!

For me it's been fun with this stuff. Sure there are great talents going elsewhere but in years past there were always players I felt like we lost out on. This is the first time in a long time I feel like we are getting the players we want.

Agree. Having responsible adults running the program has its benefits, even if you miss out on fun things, like your HC stripping to the waist, crushing a red bull on his forehead and threatening to kick somebody's azz.

This is just not true. I feel like there are delusional people on here that could see LSU sign 7 two star guys and be like, “frick yeah we got everyone we wanted and won all the recruiting battles.
You think LSU wasn’t trying to get some of these guys that signed at Bama and Georgia and some of these other places. What about that LB from their campus who went to Notre Dame? They didn’t want him? Literally a thread on here about a kid who flipped that LSU was trying to get to hold off on signing.
Be excited for the kids we got without being a moron.
