Per Sam Spiegelman:
4??WR Nico Collins returned from his unplanned visit to #LSU to a pair of UGA coaches waiting for him

Definitely a top priority. Our receivers outside of Ridley couldn't catch shite.

I would expect our coaches to do the same. It's part of it.

How many in home visits does one team get with a recruit?

HC gets one total. Assistants get one a week, but it's unlimited visits for all assistants for that day.

Agree.

That definitely comes across as needy. I'm not sure that's how I'd want to come across if I were recruiting.

Not sure why the downvotes, unless just not happy that they heard and showed up. This statement is pretty accurate, other than leaving out McKenzie - though he of course isn't returning. He's definitely a need for us.

You will learn quickly that the downvote is the Rant Flag and it is flown proudly around here.

Fair enough. I don't frequent Ye Olde Tiger Rant often, but stopped by because of the RMD. Saw UGA post and peeked in. As you were.

assistant coaches going on an in-home to visit our highest remaining WR target is creepy?

Can you say how, exactly?

Sorry. It was the wording of my quoted post. I don't get this world sometimes.

Just visialized a HS kid exiting a plane to find a group of salivating coaches in leisure suits waiting for him on the tarmac.

I do have have an active imagination, but from some recruiting stories I've read/heard, it may not be far from the truth.

Just sounds creepy - I don't care who does it.

According to radio stations here in Atlanta, UGA only has room for one or two more recruits.

Something tells me they want Nico to commit now or before NSD or they're walking away.

Not quite, it may end up that way but we can probably take 4.

If solomon, nico, and markaviest bryant want in they're all in. If we get a surprise flip like jamyest williams he's in too.

But yeah, If I had to guess 2 wouldn't be surprising.

Yeah, but we do it in a much nicer and less stalking manner

I think I like Nico Collins better than D Smith.

NC is 6-5, 195, 4.4 speed or better
-Extremely physical (surprising considering his weight) in that he stiff arms, breaks multiple tackles, and blocks like a TE
-Fantastic route runner with consistent separation using double-sometimes-triple-moves
-Straight-up burner whenever he wants.
-Soft hands. Makes over-the-shoulder arms-extended catches like Malachi Dupre
-High-points jump balls; not a body catcher
-Quickness/toughness/acceleration in space

LINK

He literally has it all, imo. Not sure why he isn't rated higher. Would rather he go to Michigan over UGA if he doesn't come here.

He's not going to UM. They've picked up their recruitment of Oliver Martin, which basically means they've given up on Collins.
