The only way you're gonna stop bama from getting who they want is to beat them on the field. Rt now they look like the gold standard to recruits and rightfully so. If we could have beaten bama once or twice the past 3 or 4 years they wouldn't be so attractive to these La boys. Wake up and admit it.

Actually, I think he is seriously undecided. Early in the football season he was going to announce where he was going, his HS coach told him he needed to commit himself to his HS team (but not necessarily for the team's best interest. For his own interest since he hadn't visited schools yet, etc. He commits to one school then he will later question whether or not he really wants to go there, etc.. So why verbally commit when you still have time to see what would be in his best interest, what school fits best for him, etc type thing).
He visited Arizona St in December 9th, LSU this past weekend, Bama this coming weekend and then the weekend after Ole Miss.
While it will likely be LSU or Alabama, there is a possibility he could go to Arizona St... In other words if he doesn't go to LSU or Bama he is going to go to Arizona St.

Reading this thread, there are a lot of butthurt people in here. Alabama does this to get recruits, Alabama does that. Do you think Alabama really needs to risk getting players illegally? I am pretty sure "hey, do you want to win a national championship and have a good chance to go to the NFL? If you work for it, we provide the best opportunity to have a great deal of success".
Either way, Saban isn't wasting his time visiting kids he knows for sure are going to Alabama. LSU is still going to have a strong class as well. ESPN has LSU ranked 5th, but by the end of signing day we will move up. There are enough kids who have LSU as a possible choice that if we get two or three of them this year's class gets better.
Any for the people who thinks all it takes is top recruits to win. Yes. of course you need those top recruits in order to win, but not just any coach can take top talent and win.
My point is.. You can't really "hate" Nick Saban for pretty much.. doing his job. Coach O is a really good recruiter as well. No need to get all bent out of shape just because you see lil Nicky at a HS in South Louisiana, I am confident in Coach O's ability to recruit.

OweO-The weekend of the 27th, Todd will be in Ft. Worth visiting TCU. I don't know where ESPN is getting their news from but I can assure you it's NOT from Todd.
