If JBE gets them signed to LSU, he'll move up a step in my book.

to step one.

That was their kicker who broke his leg in the championship game. Player trying to block a PAT landed on his plant leg.

I am guessing this is tongue-in-cheek, but Orgeron and JBE are buddies.

That would be fricking awesome.

I think the wise thing would be for us to hope he's successful in helping us land the Amite guys this cycle.

Having him get reelected doesn't need to be part of the scenario.

Ish looks huge, strong and athletic in those pics, too. It's weird how down on him some people on here are...he could be extremely good for us.

We should expect to be able to motivate and fully develop guys like this. We can't be a football factory if we're afraid to take projects with high ceilings.

We have to get some quality back on both of our lines. Clemson guys on OL aren't great but they held their own against bama. Our DL will be thin this year and next if we don't add big athletic bodies. 2020 DL looks stacked in Louisiana though.

I think he might be talking about the Clemp's Son OL recruit rankings.

That line was fully-developed, technically sound, and gelled AF, though. That was reminiscent to the beat down the Eagles OL put on the Pats in last year's SB. Without that protection, Lawrence likely looks entirely different, and I think bama wins the game.

Looking closer, it appears the first football is signed by the Amite team and they presented it to him. The 2nd pic with the footballs looks like he puts the Amite signed ball next to an LSU autograph ball.

Also in that pic you can see the picture above the footballs of Frank M. Edwards - team captain. Not quite clear, but looks like it says LSU at the bottom. So a quick Google search shows he was LSU team captain for the 1905 season. That's JBE's grandfather. Pretty cool.
