Well you certainly didn’t read what I said. I don’t think all 20 are good enough, no. Sorry I’m not on the train of taking kids from LA out of principle. I want the players that are best fit for what we’re doing, I don’t care where the hell they play high school football at.

Despite CBK saying otherwise it makes it look like the home state guys are second choice. CEO did this a couple yrs and came up empty in the end. I know kelly said the instate guys are a priority but every player I see visit is from Cali or East coast and those guys rarely come here. We become a resume builder offer for them.

Lot of good that did the last couple of years. How about we give the new coaching staff a chance to field a team for one year and then see how recruiting ends up before we panic.

Kelly is the worst recruiter we’ve had in over 20 years.
If he doesn’t win 12+ plus games a year he won’t get top level recruits because he’s not likable. He hasn’t been here a full year & already faked a southern accent at a basketball game & made a cringe-worthy mini rap video where he’s dancing off beat with a recruit that he didn’t even sign.
If he recruits even as good as he did at ND we still lose 2-3 games a year.

This board is so over the top sometimes. Year 1 with a new staff means it takes time to catch up to other staffs who have been recruiting your targets for a year or so longer than you. Kids wants to go places they can win as well so if we put a good product on the field this Fall, plus the staff recruits their butts off, we have a chance at a great class.

yeah why not? I was asked to do it so I wanted to give that user all the facts. I mean if anyone follows recruiting even a little bit, it's not hard to recognize names and see who we've been connected with. Was pretty easy and quick to determine that someone who states "we aren't in the running for any top players" is clueless.
