Wade recruits better PGs than broken down assed Thomas. I'd be SHOCKED if Wade tried to keep him.

Think Smart and Waters, both significantly better than Thomas. Besides being injury prone, he's too damned small as well.

And before you say Waters is smaller than Thomas with your faggy "lol" at the end, Tremont was clearly better than Dedan.

I am by no means a LE stan but that was a polar ice cap level melt over almost nothing. Is waters better than Dedan? sure. But the idea that Dedan was good and bringing him back would be a good idea isn't far fetched.

Also the slur did make your already not great point look even less legitimate.

Also I heard in one interview (can't remember which) that Wade doesn't plan to raid the NC ST roster.

Why would LSU want players that help NC St finish 7th in ACC? Get better players! THIS IS LSU!

Ok dad. I'll try to do better.

Are you serious with this??? Grow a pair, dude.

Thomas isn't a pimple on the arse of either Smart or Waters. And he won't be on the PG Wade signs for next year either.

You're still melting that some think Thomas was good...
Why does that bother you so much?

Also its not a binary scale where its either a player is Waters or they are dog shite. A player can be good while not being as good as Waters.

Bro you are in the middle of an all time weird melt. I disagree with at good bit of what LE post but Thomas was a good player for us before the injury. He is absolutely comparable to Smart and while I would definitely rate waters as the best of the 3 but he wasn’t in some different stratosphere. At the level he was playing before the injury Thomas would start for the vast majority of teams in the country. He was probably a 2nd team all conference type heading into conference play. You have to be able to separate the coach from the player. McMahon hate is blinding you, don’t get me wrong I’m so glad he is gone and Wade is back but every player who played for Wade isn’t automatically better than every player who played for McMahon. That’s emotional thinking.

I agree with the majority of your response to me, separating players from McMahon etc..

However, Smart and Waters are significantly better than Thomas. Thomas can't even stay on the floor, and that counts a good bit toward your value.

Smart had the intangibles over Thomas also. He was a DAWG. Reference when he almost single handedly willed us to that win over Tennessee. If memory serves, the Vols were highly ranked and at home in that game.

4th and goal from the 1, I'm giving the ball to Smart EVERY TIME over Thomas.

I think Thomas had that dawg in him too and honestly him getting hurt unfortunate as it was might have been the best thing for our program because if he is healthy we probably make the tournament or at least are close at McMahon gets another year at least. We would have won 4-5 more conference games with him maybe more. Now if you are saying health is part of your evaluation I get it but when healthy he was every bit as good if not better than smart and not a huge gap behind waters. I think you are way underrating him. Maybe the best player McMahon ever brought in. I think he would have started or been the 6th man on any Wade team. Especially since Wade liked to play 2 point guards at times

I've been an AVID LSU fan in basketball and football since 1977. I've seen plenty of players coming through here over the decades.

My opinion (right or wrong), is that Thomas is soft, Smart is a DAWG, and Waters was just clearly a better player than Thomas.

I'm not saying Thomas is bad. But he is injury prone. We'll see if Wade makes an effort to keep him. I think he'll bring in better.
