Looking at composite player rankings I can't believe John Battle is a 3*. His film is impressive, devastating hitter, he has good size and his offer list is huge. Had offers from Florida St, USC, Ohio St., South Carolina etc.

Probably a case of him getting overlooked because he committed so early in the process.

I see, so he gets to practice and have his name on LSU sports.net but probably won't ever dress out?

Trey Gallman signed with LSU as a preferred walk on, what does that mean?

Is this the OL from Dutchtown?

preferred Walk-ons are pretty much guaranteed a spot I think, walk-ons have to be selected after try-outs

yea, but he may not, depends on how many if any points we lose if he goes elswhere and how close the team behind us is.

Is he being counted in the rankings?

The day is apparently over. Big day for the Tigers. Still can't believe we have 2 scholarships left.

I heard Gordy and that other dude from the bash talking about him this morning on the radio, and they said he was, but he was fatty fat, and would lose some when Moffit got ahold of him.
