National 2013 #1: Robert Nkemdiche & LSU (UPDATED O.P. with link)

Does anyone have any knowledge if he is coming to a future Junior Day? Has LSU and Bama listed as the two "warmer" interests ahead of anyone else.
This is next year's Mario Edwards. How did we get to this stage in his recruitment? Has unofficially visited Bama and UGA, but not LSU. Only 247 five star we are in play with so far for 2013.
Robert Nkemdiche: The circus begins for the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect
excerpts:
*** LSU's only mention in the entire article is in the first quote. Also, later on, on the "10 Georgia juniors to watch" LSU not mentioned on any of the other 9. Read the article, it probably defines how 2013 Georgia recruits will play out....

excerpts:
quote:
Alabama’s Nick Saban, UGA’s Mark Richt, Clemson’s Dabo Swinney and Tennessee’s Derek Dooley, along with too many assistant coaches to mention, have stopped by Grayson to catch of a glimpse of “the boy who would be king.”
quote:
It has roughly been the same 5-6 all along – Alabama, LSU, UGA, Southern Cal, Oregon and Florida. There are never-ending rumors that he committed to Alabama last year and will sign with the Crimson Tide next year. Nkemdiche, who often wears Alabama gear to school, has denied the rumors.
quote:
An emerging school with Robert is Ole Miss – and it makes a lot of sense. That’s where his older brother, Denzel Nkemdiche, is a freshman DB

Y'all don't need no Jack LB's and we're running a little short on them. Bama lock.

If Bama had offered Kiel at jack LB he'd be there now.

You didn't hear.. he has been a SUPER SILENT commit to Bama for some time.
His best bud signed with Miss St this signing class and his head coach (whom he lives with bc one parent works odd hours and the other works in another country) played on Bama's '92 team.

Somebody hand that young lady a scholarship.

He'll give LSU long look, but Alabama has been in his ear for a long time. He lives with his high school coach part of the time (his father is an ER doctor), and said coach was on Alabama's 1992 national title team.

Nope, he wanted a toboggan also, and to go sledding.

He's not a Bama lock. Dumbass thought processes like that will lead to mediocrity.

Sounds like the Thouy's stering Oher to Ole Miss

I would guess it depends on if he's more suited to 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE perhaps. Though LSU's pass rushing DE's seem more suited to 3-4 pass rushers in the pros

mediocrity by who? LSU? Since when is anyone on this board responsible for recruiting? Kid has ties to Bama thru his coach and UGA by where he lives. Doesn't mean he won't choose LSU.

He has stated he likes the idea of playing in a 3-4. There are a lot of NFL teams moving to the 3-4 base. However, I think people like to neglect the fact that Alabama plays more nickel and dime, in a four man front, than it does in its base 3-4. A talent like RN would always be on the field.

You all bought him all that cocaine? Damn. hope he's worth it.

He's not a lock(don't believe anyone is these days) but he's about as close to as there is. Like that we're on him hard but wouldn't count on him being in the class.

It's Saban's back yard, he has to share with the other recruits.
