Lowell's primary reason for choosing LSU was his relationship with Cam Cameron. While still committed to LSU as he waits to see what happens, he has also been exploring other options.

To be expected and I would certainly understand. Hopefully, LSU makes a great hire and he is still interested in coming.

It's expected
We don't have a coach. You can't expect these kids to stick their head in the sand and pledge allegiance to LSU no matter what.

Land a big coach and recruiting will be fine.

2 season ended injuries in back to back years. I Wouldn't be slowing playing scholarships if I were him.

Who's to say the new coach would even honor LSUs offer?

If other coaches still call him, he's an idiot for not considering his options.

Not saying this is possible, but I don't believe you.

Hard to imagine anyone would be tied in with Cameron, imo. Nothing Ive seen would give me that impression but I guess behind the scenes its a different ballgame.

We'll have a coach in line before he's running again, IMO.

Either he can play or not. Why would an OC keep you from your dream. For sure our next one will be more creative.

IMO, it's better cam is gone. Brennan would have had the leg up in Cams offense

Free trips and royal treatment. Can't blame him. No commitments are solid until signing day.

Understandable. If I'm given job offers to 5 different companies and the only reason I chose to go to company A is because of who my boss would be, it's understandable to back out of the commitment if that boss would no longer be there.

There was an article on here that he chose lsu ultimately to be close to family. His father recently died and he wants to stay close for his mom.

If your allegiance is to Cameron rather than LSU after watching that atrocious offense for 3 consecutive seasons then bye I guess.

This is probably one of the worst things to say on the RB, but I think we all need to get ready for the massive onslaught of kids either that will either decommit or really start actively looking around at other schools...as well as negative comments by recruits considering us over the coming months. Fact is until we get a new head coach, recruiting is going to be somewhat of a mess with a lot of uncertainty. IT's always good to hear about the commits who are committed to the school right off the bat, but keep in mind that could turn into a very different story over the coming months until a new head coach is hired.

Majority of the recruits will feel this way and to be honest they should. Just let the season and the new coaching hire play out. I think most will before they jump ship.

If LSU hires Herman, Narcisse should fax in his LOI the second after. You guys saw what Herman did with Cardale Jones right? Greg Ward was literally Houston's starting wide receiver his sophomore season. Herman's offense is built for a player like Narcisse.

After lsu stuck with him thru his injuries I would hope he would have courtesy of staying committed at least until he meets the next coach.

Good for him. I want him to go somewhere that he can Shine. I dont really think LSU was that spot. But its more likely now that it could be the spot for him.

There are a few coaching names that have been mentioned, that would use Lowell to the best of his ability. He will fit very well in those offenses.

Well, if Les loves LSU so much, he can reach out to them and encourage them to stay Tigers.
