Congratulations. My son was the 2nd highest ranked center about a dozen years ago behind Ben Ferguson[Big Ben]. Make sure your son goes on his camp as a Jr. and Sr, and take his official weekend. We saw the coaches offices, study hall area, players rooms, and buffet food for the players. Real nice. Do it all. Good luck. They took Big Ben instead of my son, I understood. WE did get the Grayshirt offer, but Philip got a full scholly at a Ms. school, he went there. Good luck.

Depending on what he wants to major I would suggest in no particular order

La Tech
ULL
Tulane

Or juco route.

Now if he wants to go FBS

Mcneese
Northwestern st
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Im sure your advice is greatly appreciated. He should not go to La Tech. Anywhere but that redneck school. That school is way over its head in the new conference. They are going no where fast. And if they do get a bowl invite, they will screw the entire football program and decline the offer. There's better leadership elsewhere.
