if we don’t allow a record 600+ passing yards against Miss State in our opening game and if we don’t get stopped 4 straight times at the goal line against Missouri we would be 6-3 right now and if Max started and our offense had any kind of life against Texas A&M we would be 7-2 right now and just about everybody we wanted would be on board and sign today instead of delaying their announcements and flipping to other schools

The blame is squarely on the coaches shoulders and Coach O most of all for his terrible lazy hires this offseason but having said all that if we can hold together what we got now and keep guys like Leigh Earle Davis ect from signing today and Coach O can rekindle his coordinator hire magic from last year and get some elite coaches on board before NSD then I see us salvaging this class and setting up strong for the 22 class

But again this is all on Coach O’s shoulders this offseason to make the necessary changes and this thing rolling again hopefully he can right the ship

Hell a 7-3 season coming off last year, and seeing how dark this year was would have been great

Yep. A better DC hire and MB staying healthy would have been a massive difference maker from a perception standpoint.

The biggest concern is that O doesn’t know how to hire good coordinators. He’s missed on so many of them. I’m not sure how anybody could possibly have confidence in him making a good hire at this point.

i would agree, but that is why we pay millions to coaches and why some get fired.

Please quit saying if Max would have started the A&M game we would have won. They dominated the LOS on both sides of the ball and we scored a TD in garbage time. The game was not as close as the score.

I 100% agree with you on mizzou and moo st. Better play calling we score and beat mizzou. Drop everyone back into zones and we probably beat moo state. If we played max, we may have beat Ta&m. Prob 50/50.

But part of the reason we beat Florida is because they took us for dead this year. They underestimated us and even showed it by sitting Pitts. Think if we rolled in with a winning record, they take the game way more seriously.

Not to mention, they’d have a full game of tape on Max which they didn’t before. So it’s kinda a wash. I’m just happy we beat one of Florida, Bama and A&M this year.
