This is a good thing. Recently, the familiarity with LSU has made him say some fairly critical things about the university. We think he's great, but want him here if he wants to be at his state university.

I agree, LSU has some work to do on the field to perhaps lure him back. We're doing a lot of good things right now; we just need to produce for the doubters next season.

I thought Moses was no longer the #1 ranked prospect in high school football for 2017?

Getting out of town might make him realize how much he cares about BR and LSU. Or it could just help him drift away from LSU even more.
Couldn't agree more with this statement. I left the state to attend Arkansas and it made me realize how much I missed Louisiana. I transferred the following year along with 11 other kids from my high school (10 of the 11 transferred back in state). The only kid who stayed was already starting at defensive end for the Hogs, so he had no incentive to move home.
I do think most kids remember their roots after they've been away awhile. I really think him attending IMG is a positive thing for LSU.

Can't be surprised
There appears to be a sense among that group that they are being persecuted or demonized here. I for one will be glad the drama goes away, IMG will never be the lifeline for LSU football no matter how good they have been to us

This CAN be a good thing for us. He may become home sick or he might realize that he wants to move away from home. If LSU goes all the way next year he will be back on the wagon for sure; especially after seeing the way our defense uses linebackers under Aranda. In the end his top two will be Alabama or LSU and it may be the best timing for LSU to peak.

100% business decision. Good luck to him. Hopefully LSU can show Dylan how coming home after a year is also a good business decision.

Maybe going to IMG he will be competing against more kids who are bigger than half his size routinely.

Guess I'll throw in my (meaningless) $0.02.
This isn't good. By no means does it mean he's done with LSU, but every explanation for why people think this is a good thing seems like mental gymnastics to me. That being said, I think LSU has just as good a chance as anyone else right now, but not the favorite anymore.
I hope he chooses to come to LSU, but if he doesn't, life will go on and the program will be fine. One player doesn't make or break a program on LSU's level.
That is all.

Hopefully he will get homesick

All this is is a trial to see if he can go away for college, or if he misses home. Also probably getting off of LSU's campus his senior year to play football without distractions and pressure

Business decision argument is dumb. LSU sends more players to the NFL than Bama. He's just jumping on the bandwagon.

I'm talking about him going to IMG over U high. However, Bama loads the NFL with defensive players and to deny that is childish and delusional.

Dad favored LSU. Everyone around him wanted LSU. He was swaying back and forth. He committed to LSU under pressure. After getting older and choosing for himself he decommitted because he knew he actually leaned towards Bama. Once the fan base attacked him because of the hatred for Bama he leaned even more towards Bama in a defensive kind of way. Dude is not coming to LSU.
