Reggie Robinson also.

They also have a kid there now that is a tremendous talent, Justin Fortson. He plays running back, but when FP's QB went down in the first quarter Friday night, Fortson came in and threw 3 touchdowns. He basically took over the game and led them to a win over Benton and into the playoffs.

Fortson committed to Grambling last week, but after seeing him play several times I think he can play at a higher level school.

Chavis/Cooper can turn anyone into a stud, and let's give them some credit. Mo just had a lot of unforeseen talent.

I'm not disagreeing with anything said, though.

Reginald Robinson was actually a better athlete in high school from Fair Park but Mo Claiborne had a better college career than both these guys from Fair Park.

I think Head Coach Mike Greene needs to be included in that list. He came to FP from Airline this past summer, took over an absolutely horrible team the past two years, and now has them in the playoffs.

I wonder how Mo would have done on offense. People who saw him in HS said he was a pretty badass WR

I saw him in hs and he had really good ball skills.

He would have been a 4-star receiver/CB if he had gone to just about any other high school

He started at LSU as a WR, but apparently Cooper wanted him at DB really bad. Same with Simon. But I think it's obvious he would've been a good WR. He's made some crazy grabs this year. Best example is his interception vs UT earlier in the year. And his subsequent return inside the 15 yardline shows he can work with it after the catch.

Rough part of town and draws from a poor neighborhood. Think it's Queensborough. The locals have a different name for "Fair Park."

My introduction to Fair Park came in 1995 when attending the Independence Bowl. I recall it being very close to the stadium.

LB Pat Rogers graduated from Fair Park (class of '93).

Yes. Nice article in the Shreveport Times yesterday about how he turned FP around. https://www.shreveporttimes.com/article/20111109/SPORTS/111090325/Inspired-Indians-enjoy-turnaround
