I actually don't know of an insider to use this wording. I just typed it up on a whim, in fact, I was trying to get it in right before my math class.

That guy is not coming in and taking the job from Brennan unless Brennan is hurt. That's the only way he's going to be LSU's starter. You're crazy if you think he can come in and just take it away from Brennan who was convinced to come back to start not ride the pine.
Brennan is not a scrub. I don't know why this board overlooks what he's capable of doing but he's a perfect fit in Denbrock's offense too. He's a beautiful deep ball thrower and could shred in an RPO offense. Hell, he was shredding in LSU's offense before he got hurt. He had 1 game of jitters and then showed an immense jump in progression past that point. LSU did not lose because of him. He was on pace to break Burrow's records. Would he maintain it? Who knows but what he did was pretty impressive. He can sling it he's just made of glass unfortunately. Daniels is an insurance option not someone to take it from Brennan if he's healthy.
LSU's failure was they took too long to get going that season. It wasn't Brennan's play why we had some embarrassing SEC loses. Even his first game he still lit that defense up. The sputters on offense were in the redzone with the lack of play calling that cost them. If the defense wasn't so historically bad they should've had no problem winning any of those games with the points they put up.
Visiting does not automatically = he's going to LSU.

Started for 3 years and last year with all the hype and experience still threw for only 10 TDS and 10 Ints, in 3 games Brennan had 11 TDs and 3 ints., we don’t need or imo don’t want.

Not true. Dude wasn't amazing but he threw for 3,100 yards and 25 TDs and went 11-2 as a starter.
You aren't winning any natty or playoff game with aCoan as a qb. Dude is a statue he was the reason they lost to Cincy and the other game.

I remember seeing him play his freshman year and thinking. This is the skinniest guy ive ever seen on a d1 football field.

We need to stick with Brennan and what we got

Yes, I agree. Stick with Brennan. He and Nus need to battle it out.
There are other positions that need to be addressed with the recruiting spots left.

Welcome aboard.

I want Brennan to have the job, and I think he's earned it,

We need one more QB. Brennan is the starter but if he did go down we'd have Nuss and a guy we need to RS to be healthy. I don't know how healed up Howard is. Will he be able to play in the fall? Anybody know?

Shred it in an RPO offense? RPO offenses are always more successful with a mobile QB. Not sure where this statement comes from. Is Brennan a potentially great passing QB? Yes. But to say he’s a perfect fit in Denbrock’s offense, just shows your basic lack of understanding of different offenses. But Daniels is much more like Ridder than Brennan. And I’m not even saying he would be better or beat out Myles, you’re just factually incorrect about fit.

No they're not and you're ignorant. You do not need a mobile QB in RPO offenses dumbass. That's not the concept behind it. Denbrock's offense runs RPOs to keep the defense respecting the run and he likes to throw over the top a lot with the pass which is Brennan's strength because he's very accurate with the deep ball. Obviously it fits Boutte's strength too. LSU only needs someone to emerge at RB and the Oline to block well for it to work in his offense. They'll hammer them until they respect the run, lull them to sleep, throw over the top. That's what Denbrock likes to do in his scheme. They're not going to piss all these talented WRs off on the roster.
They will probably take at least 1 TE in the transfer portal because he also likes a lot of TEs in his sets. Brennan will make his read based on what the defender does. It does not require your QB to have legs which is a huge misconception. They're not running a run option offense like you're thinking. It's RUN PASS OPTION based on what the defense does as it's fluid.

He’s a lot better than Brennan but Howard is kinda the wild card. I assumed Howard would take over a few games into the season (if Brennan even made it that far without getting hurt) but wouldn’t hurt to have Howard RS a year behind a dynamic playmaker like Daniels

Depth? He’s not better than Nuss or Howard. Our QB room is fine (I love saying that)

If last year showed us anything, it's that the QB room can get thin real quick.

Are you confusing an RPO with a read option like everyone else?

Rpo has nothing to do with the qb run. It’s a run play to the back with an attached route by the receiver that the qb can throw if the defender he’s reading does whatever he’s looking for him to do
