If we miss on him, I hope BK learns a lesson, too. One on how to reel in the next one. Your take is strange. Terrible take, actually. We want the best players. We will and should continue to go after them. Simmons plays a position of need for us. And Durham is no slouch, so let's hope it plays out for him even if Simmons stays home.

for decades LSU has fielded teams/players that the sports media considered somewhat inferior to the blue bloods in college football.

yet LSU has been very competitive and done more with 'less' since Coach Paul Dietzel.

we'll see what CBK does this year with our Tigers.

our Fighting Tigers will be fine this year without a 5 star recruit. 'just win baby'
