He was just out recruiting. I wonder how many recruits will stay now that he’s gone. I’m sure he tried to reassure them that LSU was still for them but….. you never know how they really feel about it

Pretty sure Preston wasn’t coming here anyway

You're gonna lose some, just the nature of the business. LSU has alot to sell, either you love it or you don't.

Mickey put his foot in his mouth, not a smart move.

Can you name a few that you are specifically worried about?

True, but Mickey can likely land a few guys a year who are solid players but not on LSU's board. They've had quite a few guys play at Nebraska over the past decade (before Frost's hiring): PJ Smith (Curtis), Cethan Carter (Rummel), Stanley Morgan Jr. (St.Aug), Nathaniel Jones/Tyrin Ferguson/Jaevon Walton/Jariah Tolbert (Karr)

Don't think we getting Wiggins, Law, or Preston anyway.

Going 0-3 on them would be a huge hit.

Basically Walter, he apparently stated that if LSU got rid of him, he would tell recruits not to come here.

Even 18 year old kids can see straight through that.

That would be a nightmare and an awful start to this regime. You don’t just chalk up losing your top in state recruits

Well if he really said that, then him being off the staff is for the best and warranted.

That's not exactly the story I read. I didn't read anything about him activity sabotaging us, just that guys would transfer or leave the class.

My read in it was he was overplaying his hand more than being vindictive.

Yeah, that’s fair. Guess we don’t know for sure
