you're not even going to give Shea his credit?

If a kid is already scared to compete then he needs to go elsewhere. If he's not starting in 2 years at LSU, he will just transfer anyway if he already has that mindset

AFR is 3-6 so he switched to cloudy after that. Steve Wiltfong flipped to Miami and he is usually right on. Hoping LSU can change his mind.

So we all want ish/young to come here because bama signing 8 DL and everyone is saying “come here to play early”
Now Christian is considering going elsewhere to “play early” and everyone is saying that’s dumb.

Most of Miami's success was back when they were an independent program. Since joining the old Big East Miami has not won on a grand scale. I think Miami won the Big East maybe twice
WTF? Miami won 2 NC's and finished with the best overall record in the Big East 7 times in 13 seasons.

Are you really that dumb?
He wants the ability to start at corner.
LSU signed 3 corners already, and has one already committed in the 2020 class.
If he signs with LSU he knows he's more likely to get stuck in the nickel/safety role.
Miami has signed only 1 corner this cycle.

I think this is a mistake in his part. He could be a very special safety. He's got great instincts and ball skills. I could see him getting very early playing time there for us. The three guys we already signed are all going to be straight up outside corners.
With Hampton maybe going to MLB, Williams could very well be our only safety in this class.

I thought the idea from the start was we we pushing him for safety this class. The path to playing time there is pretty good considering we'll start 2 juniors likely next season and 1 is definitely going pro (Delpit).

Are you still confident about that? 247 seems certain he'll be a Hurricane...

I don't see why you are so mad? LSU has plenty of depth at secondary and already has a good haul this year and is setting up nicely next year.
Plus, he is not going to a division rival.

I won't be happy if he flips to Miami
Well he is going to have to flip somewhere. He's not going to Alabama.

If I had a nickel...

Just tells how fluid recruiting is these days! We stacked at DB’s and we will sign 2-3 elite DB’s next year. Give me Lee, Ish and the TE and I’m happy about tomorrow.

Miami signed the 21st,22nd, and 23rd ranked corners last cycle, have a both a 4 star sophomore and 4 star commit and 2 senior corners. The spin that they are promising him a starting spot at corner just isn't true and was just created to soften the blow.

Lee will play safety after he gets his shot at WR
