Yep. I wouldn’t question much with this staff. These guys know what the hell they’re doing. So many people were quick to judge bc Kelly doesn’t come out and hold press conferences to tell people what they wanna hear but you need to remember competent coaches don’t do that. They’ll speak publicly when they need to.

Kelly has a plan and we are starting to get a glimpse of how awesome this is gonna be. He’s gonna build a very good team and stable program

Jones needs to improve against the run, but his specialties at Clemson were coverage and pass rush. He has the speed to be good in that role.

His coverage ability also can allow House to play a 3-4 more often than most DCs would feel comfortable against modern offenses. I’m sure we will still play nickel as a base, but he gives you the option to play 4 LBs and still be good against the pass, depending on matchups.

Wingo is much more versatile and experienced. Selfishly, I would have liked to get both but getting Wingo is as good or better than getting Johnson.
