Posted in the 19 thread also.

Interesting measurements at Army

Kardell-6'2 356-short and too much weight

Tyrion-6'0 240

Marcell-6'1 192-thought he had gotten bigger. Seems like he's shrunk. Maybe why S is being thrown around.

Ika-6'2 372-dont know what to say. As a guy listed about 350 I was curious about some Bama comments about his weight being part of why he fell down the board. Now we know why.

Charles Turner-6'2 7/8 241-now we know why he's a TE. Still curious about IMGs S and C program. Too kids go there for college I would guess and uoud figure they could put weight on a kid.

Kardell is a guard, it worries about the height but he has about 35-40 pounds of baby fat to shred.

Wonder what coach O's ideal weight he wants Kardell to get down too?

If he gets down to 330-325lbs maybe that's what they are looking for.

330-325lbs is still a massive O lineman, and if it is basically all muscle,he will be even stronger than he is now, and he is beastly strong now.

I think Davis is gonna be a freak of a RB too, what is scary is that is just natural size, wait till he gets to LSU and is on a serious strength program. Kid already runs in the 4.5 range now.

Get Kardell to drop 25lbs and Ty to drop 10-12lbs and they are ready to roll.
May not even need Ty to drop that weight, although he’d likely be better all around if he did.
Kardell will be a monster at guard playing at 330. He could probably play a little lighter than that, but with leverage and that weight behind it he should be able to help open up some holes for RB’s.

Probably why Marcel looks so fast too.
Ty definitely better suited under 230 imo, Soph film is example
Good nutrition regimen for Kardell will do wonders

Few other things I noticed, looks like Banks got the green light from Bama. They are also still recruiting another DE, Quashon Fuller FSU commit.

Pickens and Christian Williams have been hanging together at UA practices

Hate having to play the wait for grades game with Pickens. Does LSU have a legitimate shot?

Marcel* and he’s bigger than 192. Kardell will lose some weight, but he’s a guard not a tackle. His height won’t be too bad. He could even be 6’3 which wouldn’t be bad at all. Tyrion will probably play at 230.

He was literally just measured today at the All American Game. Was the scale or tape measure wrong today?

Is he really only 6'1"?

How much you think he weighs?

The thing about measurements you hear all sorts of things. In high school when they gave his height he was 6’4. 247, says 6’3. I don’t think there is any way he’s 6’1 and I’m around him. I’m 6’0 flat, and he’s solidly abov me. His weight has varied too. During football season he was between 212-220. Was at the gym with him recently and he weighed and it was 209. Some sites have listed him at 195, and others higher. Hell ESPN has him listed at 6’2 right now. Take it for what it’s worth.

I don’t think he’s 6’1 at all. I’m 6’0 and he’s above me for sure by a good amount. Last I think I had told you was 209, he’s probably just above 200-205 right now. I have no idea how measurements can be so varied from time to time.

Please tell him to be 6'4" 235lbs for us.

Hey, what position does he tell you he's going to play at LSU?

He wants to be a hybrid between Safety and OLB. He’s good in coverage, but he wants to have field days getting to the QB. If he got to 235 he would lose his speed, which is big time. 247 botches speeds. He’s much faster than a 4.6. Ideally being honest with you I would say he’s 6’3, and 205 right now. Most likely gains weight and plays at 220 in college. As of this current moment say to think OLB, but he’s going to get some action both spots is what he’s been told.

Thanks, man.

6'3" 220lbs sounds great...hopefully that's where he's at in 2-3 years.

He seems like a similar prospect to Jacoby Stevens to me.

If I had to compare him to a guy it would be Stevens. An athlete so to speak out of High School. Played some WR, and might get somewhat of a look there, although he’ll be on defense. Definitely the perfect hybrid between Safety and OLB. Both play the same way. Both have good coverage skills, but are beasts at rushing and getting to the QB. Hope the LSU staff will put some weight on him, but he’s not worried. He’s lost about 10 pounds since season, all will be good. Geaux Tigers.

They actually stand on a scale for weight and measure their height, arm length and hand size with measuring tape. They didn’t eyeball him, his official measurement was 6’1 1/4” and 193 pounds. That’s where he is currently regardless of what he or anyone else said in the past
