Meadows to Bama? i just don't get it.

venting here.
i just don't get it. bama wasn't a player until what, a few weeks ago and all of a sudden they are a player. he wants to go to the sec so why not just come to us.
i know what y'all have said about his high school but I worry that he will turn into a matchup nightmare with his measurables if he breaks through. his height with his measurables you can't teach and they don't grow on trees
I really hope lsu can make a final push and get him back in

Dude who knows what’s really being negotiated with these kids, but at it’s core, they are almost all making decision on money/perks. The world will keep spinning.

Meadows is not one to melt over or make a final push in my opinion. He has great size, but that is about it. His straight-line speed is average, and not a very good route runner. High School DBs stay right on his waist the entire time. I really doubt he will ever do anything great at P4 level.

Who cares, he’s a 17-18 year old kid. It’s more likely these recruits are busts or transfers. Why concern yourself with him.

Maybe it’s bullshite, and I’m paraphrasing, but I know I heard on the radio that he isn’t a big priority for the staff. I think he was just an easy get with Underwood or something.

Stop fretting about it. Would I like Meadows in this class? Sure. Meadows has all the measurables. But I do get overrated vibes. Low four start Phillip Wright's film looks better than Meadows IMO.
