Hey Tiger family, I just thought I would pass along that Iwas chatting w/ a relative yesterday from Orange Blood. He told me there is no doubt Wilson is leaving the state of Texas for college. He really thinks it's down to FSU and LSU for his services. UT has not been talking to him at all lately and they were LSU's biggest threat to landing him. Not trying to say I know anything here but just thought I would share.

He has strong family ties here in Louisiana. He would be a fantastic addition to the team. He can be a hero here.

We needed to be on him hard the day Peveto was fired. He was ours until then. I'm not sure if it should not be both Orgeron and bringing in Jenkins and Aranda to show how much we need him in this class.

Orgeron is the X factor in his recruitment, not peveto. Orgeron made him a priority as soon as he was hired at LSU.

Losing Peveto hurt us with Chaisson, Buggs and Mathis, but not Wilson.

Mathis? I know he's been a grade risk.

I highly doubt Wilson is.

He's a wreckin' machine. He could be a hero at FSU too. But I know what you're saying, and I hope Coach O closes this one strong. We all know how good of a closer he is on DL recruits, and it helps that our #1 remaining target just happens to be Orgeron's bread and butter.

I had drinks last night with a guy whos son played for Episcopal this year and said it is down to LSU and Ohio State. I can't see the kid going to Ohio State in the cold weather, but according to them he' enjoyed his official for the Ohio State Michigan game.

Plus we have Tyler Shelvin, however, Wilson is smart enough to understand that the top college teams rotate at ever position, especially on Defense.

FSU can promise him all day long that he is going to be the only big guy in the middle, but he knows playing under Dave Aranda is going to be better for his career and playing for Coach O is going to be down right fun.

I think if Coach O and LSU can be serious, but fun you will find that our players play much better and if the coaches can get the most out of each player, the players will be happy and know they did everything they could each game.

I understand that Tyler Shelvin and Wilson are friends and communicate regularly and have talked about playing together at LSU quite a bit.
