Wilson and Moses are must gets this year

Getting the top 2 DTs would be awesome

They are not must gets. Nobody is a must get coming out of H.S. Very little separates a five star from a four star and honesty a lot of five stars peak in HS aka Anthony Johnson

You couldn't be more wrong

I actually agree with him to a certain degree. I'd love to get both those guys, but there a lot of 5 stars who peak early and yes, Freak Johnson is the perfect example! As for Moses, he's like a Todd Marinovich. He'd been on a program since he's been 3 years old. I really want to be a Tiger, but the idea of him peaking early and not having much left in the tank come NFL time is not obsurd!

Moses has may have been in a program his entire life but most analysts still rave about his upside so there must be something there that hasn't blossomed yet. Physically he may be close to his peak and that's ok. Athletically and skill at football is where I'm looking for upside.

I agree, and I didn't mean to dog him, I think he's our 2nd biggest target in the last decade for a reason. I was just more defending the guy who said some 5 stars peak early and was agreeing that Freak Johnson was one of them. I mean, Trey Quinn was a higher rated HS WR than OBJ, so you never know!

He is not wrong about the must gets. No one or two players are must gets. Dylan Moses or Marvin Wilson go somewhere else and LSU will still get a very talented player in the recruiting class.

I'd say Cam Rob was a must get. Our line would be drastically different & much better w/him at LT. Whoever was slated as his replacement in that class, to this point, hasn't showed. There are a few must gets, he was one.

Since you didn't get him and the program is still running strong and LSU still has one of the most talented o lines in the country then he was not a must get. He would have been a nice get and would be good to have him but again no one player is a must get. The closest I would say to a must get was Leonard Fournette but if they didn't get him you still would have Williams, Guice, and Brossette. Not a bad consolation prize.

Yes, but not only did we not get CR, but ALSO the fact that he went to a rival.
Had LF done so, it would have had a significant psychological angle as well, being as we'd held his spot for 2 years, and his relationship with Frank.

This. The number one reason why the Shenanigans in Monroe/Ouachita Parish had to stop. The Crimson poisonous seed reared its ugly head. Handlers, handlers, handlers......

Idk if we have one of the most talented olines in the country but carry on....

Chris Davenport would be a better example of a 5 star peaking in HS

One of the most talented does not mean they are the best they still have to prove that on the field. Individually it would be hard to find a team with this many experienced talented players.
