I agree that Nick is very good BUT he is playing with a stacked deck because of REC support and Bens!

Ed needs to sell that LSU wants him and will make sure he has a spot. Bama is waiting to see if they have a spot for him, because he isn't a priority.

I was just about to post the stipend value. We are absolutely killing our recruiting by having a low stipend. Texas A&M is paying double what we are paying. Alabama is paying damn near 50% higher than we are. You can't win this way.

Ed and the asst coaches need to stay on top of these kids on a regular basis because you always here stories from these kids about, well, LSU didn't stay in touch with me on a regular basis, not showing me the love and all that shite. I would get Banks, Harris and them in for a visit at one of the home games coming up to see if everything is still the same, see where we stand at and all of that.

Alabama really does have that kind of power now from winning all those damn championships in such a relatively short time, crazy, and Saban uses that win streak shite they have going on over LSU with these recruits telling them BS like why would you wanna go there "we own them", the dirty bastard. LOL And this season they look just about unbeatable, while we are winning games, but not looking so great in winning these games.

These young recruits like being impressed, a young mind is very easily influenced and so they go Alabama and see the facilities, championships, and then go to the games with the bigtime environments and see Alabama blow people out and are wowed. They start forgetting about a LSU or any other school they're committed to and start wanting to be a part of all of that at Alabama. You stop all of that by beating Alabama and kicking their asses in November, win the SEC west and SEC period and get in the playoffs and win the NC. Something LSU hasn't done in awhile since that 2012 catastrophe, and LSU has a chance this season because I didn't expect them to be 4-0 at this stage, but I mean they gotta clean up the mistakes these coaches and get this team playing like a contender again. Then those recruits won't be a problem anymore.

Saban sells his system and winning championships. We need to start beating the Alabama's, Georgia's and getting into the championship series.

You need the players to do this. There is a reason Georgia and Bama are cleaning up on recruits. Both started doing so BEFORE they won championships. They are paying more money, or providing more pu$$y.

The article clearly said his relationship with jeff Banks is key. So i guess Corey Raymond just gets a pass?

Thought Saban operated that if you were committed somewhere else, no official visit offered. Maybe I had that wrong. Let's not forget, a good team can beat an outstanding team on the occasion of a difference in emotion with a little luck thrown in. If Coach O keeps recruiting the big men well, it is just a matter of time before we get there. A lot to look forward to.

This is why Orgeron will struggle in recruiting. He's a good pitch guy early on, but not a great closer

Wanna know what closes?

Winning

Saban has that nugget more than anyone.

You may as well drag your butt hurt self over in the corner, & lick your wounds. Not all of these recruits get Corvettes, or Hellcats. They want to play with all the top ranked players, and win championships. Until we start beating Bama, get used to it. & now w/this chickenshit 4 games , then transfer rule w/4 to play ,means Bama will have their pick out of high school, and then be in the running for any guys who blow up early in their careers. Only winning will beget this fact .& that winning means beating Satan.

hate to break it to you guys but Bama could probably flip 75% of the class if they wanted to. Once they lock in on a kid and pull out all the stops it's usually over with.

Keys to Dodge Chargers and bags of cash will do that.

Saban will host an LSU verbal commitment on recruiting visits b/c he knows it will hurt the LSU program if the kid flips. He did this exact thing with Matt Womack who was verbally committed to LSU and even signed his financial aid agreement papers with LSU. We got burned with recruiting violations because of it after Womack flipped and signed with ALA

That is why you risk a ton by by hiring someone that is mainly a great recruiter and position coach for head coach without proof they can handle the heavier load and still be as good on the recruiting trail.

Bama will spend over 500k to lock up a kid. They give out a lot more than just chargers. If a kid wants big bucks no one can compete since Sabans bitch runs the NCAA. It’s just the way it is for now
