Dang Vandy picked on him
Good length but not great speed or quickness based on that video
He's most likely playing safety for us. Were good at corner we need safeties badly. He seems to be a hell of a tackler and has some ball skills to him. We wont need him to cover elite sec wideouts in single coverage with guys like Dj Pickett and Ja'keem Jackson

#2 rated corner in the portal. That must really get to you.

Not the cover corner i was hoping for
Well he’s the #2 rated corner in the portal. I’m sure he’s very sorry that your 30 second viewing of his highlights didn’t impress you.

This is such a huge pickup imo.
Dude has balled for 3 years in a row.

As opposed to you watching no film and going off a number espn assigned him. Show me where's he's a shutdown corner on film. Looks like a huge upgrade but id be shocked if he's not playing more of a nickel type db come spring...all i was saying. We need them more than anything. I do like the pick up. Kid can play and plays hard. Already a huge upgrade.

He played corner for 3 years at a high level. You think he is just going to up and switch positions in his draft yr?
I will say he is a great tackler for a corner. He might be better suited as a zone corner. They moved him around more the past couple of years. I think lsu might move him around some with his experience.

ESPN had him as #1. Let the big boys make decisions.

This gotta be the most db talent raymond has had in years

On3 has him as the #16 cb in portal so we hate on3?

Yea was kinda my point. Watching Miami game he looks like he was playing almost a star roll/safety early then boundary db later in game but would bring him up around the line of scrimmage also. They used him several different ways. Cam didn't throw his way hardly at all until last TD where he just got lost in motion. Virginia game looked more like a traditional db. Not crazy about his backside pursuit effort on alot of plays. Watch the film and you will see it. Again, great pick up. He's a upgrade. One piece of the puzzle but I don't think its a take away one side of the field kinda add like some are saying.

Hey man, look, im glad he's coming. Good addition ...but him being #2 in the portal TODAY means absolutely nothing. I couldn't care less about a position ranking within the 1st week of the portal opening. It's early. The portal closes on the 28th and the playoffs start this weekend. More guys will enter.

against vandy he looked like he doesn't have great speed and that worries to be honest. what do y'all think

Bryce Underwood flipping might have been a blessing in disguise
Imagine being set to play an Underwood led Michigan in a Tiger Stadium playoff game and we beat their arse with this transfer & recruiting class. Wouldn’t that be nice?

I mean, it's great. But we sure are racking up guys with 1 year of eligibility left.

That’s the point. These guys aren’t here as permanent solutions. They are here to field a competitive team until your recruits develop

What really matters past one year in the NiL era? Nothing.

How can this be? I was told Ole Miss and Auburn were getting all the good players and BK lied about being aggressive in the portal.
Don’t you know? The new narrative the Rosy Stench Boys are pushing isn’t that BK CAN’T get players. It’s that all the players he gets suck and no one else wanted them.
Trust me. There will be one of them in here soon enough to tell you this.
