Two of those three are now very likely gets. Rickie decommited from Purdue this morning, and the TE just got his offer a few days ago. Harbor is the only one that no one can be confident about right now, but people around the program seem to feel like we’re in a good spot. It’s not implausible that this looks a lot like our final class.

Derek Williams would be nice, but I have read it will take a few pesos more than Texas is willing to give.

Hard to say because I don't know were the other teams will land and how these kids will be ranked after 247's final ranking. But if I had to predict, it would be 5 to 8 range with ND, Ohio State, bama, UGA and probably Clemson ahead of LSU. I could see LSU passing Clemson though and taking the 5 spot with some good fortune. I'm going to remain optimistic and say some of our lower rated 3 star guys get bumped up and the current 4 and 5 star guys remain the same or get bumped up.

Are we not looking at a second LB?

If I were to do a mock class, wouldn't change a thing. In reference to LB, in House s defense, we re actually ok for now. They have Evals on all Lbs, I'm sure they will be keeping an eye on development on a few kids thru their Senior year, and you could see some late offers, but they feel they can grab from portal, if needed. Plus they way out in front for 2 really good ones in the 24 class. So no need to reach.

I’ve been told Mike Jones and Greg Penn have been awesome so far and are developing nicely.

I think those 2 have 2 more years left to play so they are in no rush at LB right now because they can go to the portal if need be.

Also Harold Perkins is potentially a Devin White player who is more than likely gonna be star for years.

Great looking class. Outside of adding another LB and maybe another OL, I have no complaints. We can get those in the portal anyway.
