Hmmmmmmm. Here’s to hoping this mean something with a certain other player. Crossing my fingers
So, if it's true that PG McMiller is no longer being recruited, obviously the only other PG target left (on our unofficial list of prospects) is Jaloni Cambridge who is the #1 player in the nation & an obvious take, but that would have to affect the commitment of in-state PG Jada Richard, right?
In theory, the competition at PG for the '24 season could be a monster log-jam of HVL, Velez, Cambridge, & Richard. A couple of those I suspect might not play a minute that season, or at least not at PG.

Look up Caroline Bradley From Oak Grove. 6'5 going into freshman year. 2027 recruit.
I'm assuming that's Josh Bradley's daughter. Former LSU and Louisiana Tech TE who was 6-7 when he played college ball. Is this correct?

When I was googling "Jaloni Cambridge LSU" today for any possible update, I stumbled across your thread that came up in the search results: SaintLSU's 6-page Nov. to April WBB Recruiting Thread Thank you (& others). It's an incredible read that I never knew existed until now. (Full disclosure, I am entirely new to WBB but completely addicted now and only started this thread bc I wanted a compilation/list of potential prospects that I could not readily find on this board. There are far more competent WBB posters on this board that could've helmed this thread.)
Why was your thread never stickied? It makes some sense now why my thread was initially anchored, but that could've easily been explained with a simple bump (& sticky) of your thread.
I'm gonna add a link to your thread in the OP "sources" section for posterity. I'm also gonna try to manually merge/re-post certain posts I think are still relevant/informative. If anyone wants to do the same for posts I don't choose, feel free to add links.

Some major targets for 2024:
Me'Arah O'Neal, 6-3 F/C, Episcopal HS (Bellaire, TX)
2024 espnW 60 ranking: 43 (previously: 60)
Uncommitted
O'Neal, the daughter of NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal, has always had a soft touch and a natural feel for the face-up game, but she improved her activity level, on-court aggression and methodical ways to find offensive opportunities this past summer. Even at 6-3, she can handle the ball and put it on the deck. A forward for Episcopal High School (Texas) and Sports Academy GBL Cal Swish, O'Neal gained base and core strength, which allowed her to be more physical as she attacks the boards harder and mix things up defensively. Cal, San Diego, Georgia Tech, Rutgers and LSU are among the teams pursuing her.
Sarah Strong, 6-2 F, Grace Christian School (Sanford, NC)
2024 espnW 60 ranking: 4 (previously: 5)
Uncommitted
Strong specializes in skill and fundamentals, which helped her win gold with USA Basketball at the FIBA U17 3x3 World Cup. She is effective both inside and outside with a sturdy 6-2 frame and great hands. A forward for Grace Christian School (North Carolina) and Lady Strong, she is savvy in and around the paint, has a soft touch past the 3-point line and is an incredible passer, allowing her to both score and facilitate for others. She holds offers from many of the top schools in the country, including UConn, South Carolina, NC State, North Carolina and LSU.
Justice Carlton
2024 espnW 60 ranking: 3 (previously: 21)
Uncommitted
The 6-2 Carlton proved herself as one of the most versatile forwards in the country, leading Cy Fair Elite to an EYBL championship in Chicago in July by leading the league in scoring (20.6 PPG) and steals (4.0 spg) while also averaging 6.4 rebounds. Her game stands out from the high post and face-up areas on the court. Her fantastic touch and hands allow her to make pull-up jumpers and finish with either finesse or with power. A junior for Seven Lakes High School (Texas), her defensive instincts and footwork lead to getting tips and her hands on loose balls and passes. She released her top 20 list on Aug. 10 and has recently taken a visit to Texas.
Jaloni Cambridge 5-6 PG, #1 recruit in the nation. She was on LSU's campus in November.

Unfortunately Edwards is from SC. But Cambridge is likely leaving the state of TN, heard her and her family are not big TN people.

1st commitment for the 2024 class is 5'7 point guard, Jada Richard from Lafayette Christian Academy. She has over 2,000 points in 3 years of play and is cited as the state's top prospect for 2024.
TeamLSU's reply:

Jada is a pretty good player. My niece played against her last year and guarded her as a 7TH Grader. Just a subtle brag as an 8TH Grader this year, she averaged 21pts, 11rebs, 6stls, 4asst per game and earned 1A Second Team All State.
College coaches are already coming around. LSU has been in contact also.

Addison Deal's mom was a really good volleyball player at St. Joseph's Academy and then at UNO so there is a definite LA and BR tie.

I found a behind-the-scenes video of #1 Jaloni Cambridge’s visit to Baylor back in late Jan. (when #31 Taliyah Parker & #4 Justice Carlton were also visiting):
"What a 5-star visit looks like!!”
She looks relatively bored on her trip, if you ask me. Still, it’s interesting how other schools try to recruit a blue chip prospect.

In that video of Jaloni visiting Baylor if you didn't know any better it looked like she was at some old folks home, how boring for her. Jaloni will have lots to compare when she takes her OV to LSU.

CajunRocks, that is correct, Caroline is Josh’s daughter.

And it’s no surprise, Caroline with that kind of size already (and sure to get even taller) is ranked as the top La. prospect in the Class of 2027 by lgrbasketball.com.

Caroline is definitely a very good prospect, her height is what stands out right now. My niece (Kori Wesley) is a 5'5 PG/SG and is rated #4 La. prospect in the Class of 2027 by lgrbasketball.com. But that was BEFORE her performance at the lgrbasketball challenge competition a few weeks ago where she dominated the competition. The final analysis per lgrbasketball:
Kori Wesley (Evaluation)
"Top scorer with speedy handles as well as shifty moves. Kori lead her team to a championship win, non-stop explosive energy and strong defensive efforts. All over the court, you could feel her presence. She is the MVP of the High School ACC Championship".
This is her evaluation from lgrbasketball recently, so she may be moving up in their next rankings.

I wonder who Redus is shouting out there. Of the 55 names on the U16 trials roster, Ayla McDowell & Zhen Craft are the only ones I have I’ve read with some connection to LSU recruiting.
EDIT: Ok, after scrolling through Redus' twitter, he recently retweeted a U16-related tweet from Haylen Ayers, arguably the top prospect from the class of 2027.

I think that will be determined by the needs of whichever college they choose. Kori will be able to dominate her position on most occasions at that level. I don't think Caroline will be an instant impact player the minute she steps on a college campus but I think Kori will be.
