Divine probably gonna commit this month. I don’t see the other two deciding until November

I was being playfully facetious. Our best chance is Divine correct? On3 is predicting 94% LSU. We're neck and neck with KY on Zakiyah. Since she is from KY, I would think they have the advantage. On3 is predicting Grace to UCLA/USC-w? Saw on Instagram the 3 recruits and the team went to Kim's house.

FWIW those On3 predictions aren't really accurate and updated so I dont take those seriously.
But there are multiple media outlets reporting LSU is a 'heavy favorite' to land Divine Bourrage (including non LSU folks saying it)
Knox has publicly stated she is open to leaving home and that USC being home is a 'neutral factor' but isn't against staying home either. So her finalist list kind of supports these comments.
Its worth noting Aaliyah Chavez is visiting Texas later this month on Sept 28 and LSU is getting allegedly one of the last visits. Recent chatter is LSU has been trending with her again. Her parents in particular are very close with Mulkey and Redus has had a relationship with them dating back since his time at SMU.

Hopefully we won’t go 0-3 this year
We already have a five star guard committed entering fall visits (Bella) so thats already a way better start than last year.
McDowell visits LSU in 2 weeks, thats a five star wing out of Texas, and a teammate of Bella/Chavez. McDowell visited LSU unofficially during Kim's first year at LSU and was mentored by former LSU player Marie Ferdinand. How hard LSU pushes could depend on what happens with Zakiyah/Knox this weekend after the visit wraps up and how confident they are with each but a decision will need to be made soon I'd think

Thanks 357. Love your feedback and analysis about recruits. You should have your own LSU Twitter, Instagram, etc. I would follow it. Can you tell us a little about yourself, are you from Louisiana, when did you go to LSU? Whatever you are comfortable sharing.

102K loud raucous fans on a Saturday night
I’ll be honest, I thought the atmosphere would be a contributing factor as well, but I couldn’t help but notice this was one of the quietest games I’ve ever attended. Not sure if it was because it was because of the opponent, going too hard at the first home tailgate of the season, or just bitterness about last week’s loss, but something was just off.

Even if it was at 75% of normal high school seniors would still be impressed. The whole pageantry of the evening would make more of an impression than some subjective opinion of crowd noise. How many home basketball games were nationally televised and the broadcast crew raved about the sellout crowds and the atmosphere at those games. That resonates more than football games.

I was responding to a comment that talked about the crowd and stating it was not impressive at this particular game. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but that wasn’t the point of the post.
More about your point, we are talking about three top ten recruits and are going up against other national championship contenders (South Carolina, SoCal, Kentucky, Texas, Tennessee, UConn, etc.) some of whom got just as much national exposure as we did last year and have excellent atmospheres as well. All the top programs will.

LSU in a really good spot with Zakiyah and Knox right now but will likely not hear anything into November for Both, although Knox could pull the trigger in late October after she does all 4 visits.
McDowell visits LSU next weekend.
Chavez is visiting Texas in two weeks. Rumors have it LSU will be getting her last visit in October.
Stay tuned..

Do you think LSU should take McDowell regardless of how the rest shakes out? 6’2 Stretch 4’s are hard to come by. She’s solid. I think Knox can play out on the perimeter as a bigger 3. She’s got good enough handle. If everything pans out good luck trying to defend this team in the coming years.

how many scholarships are available for this class? we already have 2 for this class so how many more could we add?

Assuming Flau’jae returns, Divine will be the 10th scholarship player. You can have up to 15.

She is a top 20 recruit and 6’2. Most of the time it’s crazy to say no
Gonna be some tough decisions for the staff to get a commitment from her or try to let things play out for Zakiyah which is risky despite being in great standing for her right now
Considering she visits LSU next weekend, it’ll be interesting to see what route they take

Why would she not return? The WNBA doesn't take early entry payers.
