Prob have 6’2 Lampley/Knox at the 4

6’3 Morro or 6’5 Minaeva at the 5.

Z and MK can go to 4 if they wanna go small and maybe go 4 out on offense

They need to take advantage of Morro's ability to shoot the 3. Not sure they can do that if she's playing the 5.

Most of the clips I’ve seen of Morro , seems like she prefers to play out away from the goal but maybe Kim starts her at the 5 out of necessity.

Guess it depends on how far Ana is coming along.
Just on the few minutes of video I’ve seen of her , I’d say offensively she’s more skilled than Koval but is she ready to play in the sec?

The fact Kim was willing to roll the dice on the Russian center says plenty about where she thought Koval’s ceiling was. I’m first to avoid politics for many reasons but it clearly bothered Kate and the staff wasn’t oblivious to it, yet we still made the move.

Just seems like it’ll be another sweet 16 team without better post play but fine by me with our status in the big 3 now.

LSU will get smoked in the SEC without good post players. I hope I'm wrong but look a the other SEC teams with big frontcourts. Speed won't win you every game. Defense may/will help but the disadvantages are there.

Koval leaving doesn't mean that LSU suddenly doesn't have good post players. Three days ago we were thinking LSU's frontcourt could now match up with anyone. What this means is that LSU right now has less depth at the post and could be forced to play someone out of their natural position.

But they can still be competitive and probably win some of those battles with the elite teams.

Morro is a good bit better than Joyner.

Minaeva is a good bit better than Koval.

Knox is outstanding and a year wiser.

Lampley will have to play the 4. I wouldn't want to see Z have to play it again as they need her scoring too much at the 3.

This may not be a national championship team but it will still be one of the best in the country. The roster is still loaded . 5 five stars on the team.

Well at least she went to a competitive team who made the tournament last season. They will make it again more than likely. I'm happy for her.

Well 3 days ago I never thought they could match up against anyone so not everyone was thinking it. What I was thinking is it was a better post team than last season with Koval because of height. Koval seemed like would improve from last season and Minaeva is a diamond in the rough. Loosing Koval I have a feeling will hurt but it's just my opinion. I'm still a fan.

Initially it will certainly hurt from a leadership standpoint as LSU returned only six players from the previous season. According to Mulkey, she was the "grandmotherly" type on the team so I'm sure at the outset her teammates will miss her personality. Also 6-5 built like a rock who could move. So the loss will be felt but Kim brought in some good pieces as well.

With the new 5 for 5 ruling, any chance you think we see Mikaylah Williams and/or MiLaysia Fulwiley return for another year?

Doubt it since they will both probably be top ten WNBA picks.

Jada Williams would be more likely to come back for a 5th year before MW and MF. Jada is projected to go second round. I wonder if it's even worth it with all this fighting to play for another year court drama going on.

Hoping Banks relationship with Flau’jae will sway her to LSU .

I have no idea where we stand with Ivana .

Carolyn Bradley is visiting this weekend too. Bradley and GG have played together all summer. Bradley is there to help recruit too.

Bradley and Banks would give us 2 out of the top 5 on the country . That’s a helluva class right there .
