Bob said we have room for three transfers...I think somebody with lock down perimeter defense who maybe can shoot the three a little bit would be perfect to round out the bench

This is purely my opinion but they said they could take up to 3 but not that they would use all the spots available. Considering the home run transfers they landed between Morrow and HVL (Two All Americans) they may end up saving those scholarships for the 24 class

They just brought in the #1 ranked class, at some point Kim is going to want them to play and develop. Adding too many transfers would get in the way with that process. If they did hypothetically add a 3rd player, this one is gonna be a one year deal. I could see someone who is a good defender being added on, they already have lots of options offensively.

The women bb teams gave 15 scholarships, not 13 as do the men. Looks like 3 left at this point.

Ok good I haven't check to see how many seniors on roster. Most players in wbb will stay all years since they can make more money than wnba players possible. I'm sure Coach is being selective on last remaining spots.

I believe it will be Morrow but if not, Erynn Barnum from Arkansas would be a nice consolation prize.
To put a bow on it, Barnum committed to Mississippi State (along with Morrow's ex-Depaul teammate, Darrione Rogers.)

How many players will finish their career next year? Would Kim hold the last two places for next year or will she go uout and get another toll post player?

Pretty sure the whole roster can come back since Angel, Kateri, and Hailey have the extra year.

Potentially none, though I would not expect them all to use the extra year.

someone 6 5" who likes double topping pizza.

I remember the big blonde girl from Iowa. some of that cheese head Viking stock.

memory lane.
I remember lagrange boys vs a baton rouge team in the finals. 1961 or so.
my neighbor 6 3" Ralph knoohuisen played center for Lagrange vs a 6 8 center. much bigger won.
Ralph was talented.
much bigger won. dude was blond too. another Viking.
Fwiw Ralph went on to play center for Rice. got law degree Yale. practiced in Chicago where we shot around some like old times.
RIP Ralph.

Yeah the further good news is that it appears our top backcourt reserves are happy to be part of a super team. I would sure think if Poa or Poole wanted to go start somewhere, they’d have declared by now.

Further down the bench, I’m surprised that Bartlett and Alisa Williams seem to be happy to stick around. They hardly saw the floor last season and that won’t get better.

But assuming the current bench is intact and no one transfers out, I can see Kim adding one more walk on to go with Izzy Besselman at the end of the bench and then calling it a day.

Sidenote: speaking of Poole, I had never noticed before that Poole has a crooked shot where she raises the ball starting from her left side, goes across her face and finishes the release closer to the right. Very Lonzo Ball-ish, before shot-doctor Fred Vinson straightened him out into a competent 3pt shooter. But unlike Lonzo, Poole's crooked shot is money. I guess, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
