I thought Raymond was supposed to be the guy to land these dudes. Very depressing that we can’t even win recruiting against a Sabanless Bama. Between this and the dismal DL situation, portal recruiting has been a total disaster this year.

A couple of run-stuffing safeties would be a big help. Maybe the freshmen can eventually turn into that but I'm not expecting much help early on. Early-season shootouts seem likely but I expect the D to improve over the course of the season.

Considering we ended the cycle with big defensive line flips as well as a CB who is panning out immediately I’d call this inaccurate. Still lots of time on this current class as well.
