Kimo had a fantastic game last night against Mosely going one on one with a D1 Florida Commit. Held his own and they won 45-0. His dad told me he wore a LSU shirt to school today which I thought was pretty cool. Sorry no pics.

I’m sure people on the outside ( recruiters from other schools) are saying LSU is a dumpster fire

LSU just completed one of the best seasons in college football history. Teams can SAY what they want but it’s hard to argue with rings.

Kimo's mom wants him to stay close to home

Tell Mom that while Tallahasee is about 2 hours away, she can have breakfast in Niceville and be in Baton Rouge for Saturday brunch.

Thanks for sharing, Shalimar. This is literally the only “update” I’ve read on Kimo since S. Dixon’s article immediately following him being offered.

With as much silence around his recruitment as there has been, I was beginning to lean toward thinking there’s not much of a chance for flipping him.

I am certainly no evaluator of high school talent, but the kid seems like he can play. I really hope LSU ends up flipping him, so we that have a three-man OL class.

LOL - Would hate to get pancaked by this guy because there is approx. 100% he’s going to dive bomb himself on top of you LOL Throwing boys into the stands...

It’s difficult to Star rate an OL. They usually get the 5*s right and it would be great to pull some of them (Leigh would be incredible) but there are tons of 3* that end up playing at a high level, especially at LSU and we have so much evidence of exactly that.

I don’t care what he’s ranked, Fehoko needs to holla at this kid and get him down to BR! Looks like a legit OT with some continued development

Kimo is more focused on school and senior year. He’s going all out his last year. He’s just laying low and not worrying about what offers he has.

I like these thinner OL! Not the damn #350 that need to go on a immediate diet and learn a new lifestyle b4 they are on campus. That's not to say all #350 dudes are created equal some carry the weight better then others but a lean 305 is generally a bad arse combo.

Islanders got some insane genetics! He could red shirt and develop nicely.

Will get to see him play this week against our team. We have a DT that is a D1 prospect so should be a good matchup. Niceville is a true program that has great coaching and academics.

Kimo is putting 4 and 5 star athletes on their arse, such a strong kid. Although he is verbally committed to FSU, I think he really wants to go to LSU.

What’s holding him back from committing to LSU?

That is a true statement about the mom but I talk to his dad daily and Kimo is really just working on his academics and concentrating on football. Kimo has watched every LSU game this year and watches the line positions like a hawk. He knows that there is playing time to be had if he flips.

He has to be a take unless they plan on getting Byrd and playing him inside.
