So, because we didn't offer earlier, now we've got a battle on our hands to get him.
Not really. I think he's LSU's from Shea's tone.

Can't wait for you I post porn haha

I wouldn't worry about it, Rudolph will be our only qb commit

Or maybe Harris told cam that he will in fact camp, so camp offer is back on the table. Who the heck knows

We would take both Rudolph and Harris in this class, unless Rudolph decides to stay home or find a better situation. Having at least two strong possibilities will provide plenty of insurance as we move through the summer camps. Kizer is also a strong possibility, but at this point he's third on the list.

Cameron must've seen something from him today then that he didn't in the videos
The coaches weren't convinced by the videos either. Cameron's jaw dropped when he went to see him throw in person. He said something to the tune of a potential NFL first rounder.

They liked what they saw from him in the videos, but still thought he had some things to work on and thus why they were going a different route with Rudolph, Kizer etc. Supposedly the new coach there is more QB-oriented so he is helping fine tune all of his issues.
Again, most of you know how much I loved Teddy Bridgewater and wanted him at LSU, but from Harris' most recent HIGHLIGHTS he looks a lot like Bridgewater out there. Obviously, he lacks the accuracy that Bridgewater had, but their highlight films are eerily similar to me in that Harris uses his speed and agility to keep a play going instead of just tucking and running.
For Cameron to offer him after seeing him at practice makes me even more excited for this kid becoming a part of the class

Hamm...why would any top QB choose A&M over some place like LSU? The QB competition is so much tougher with guys like Davis & Hill compared to anything LSU has. I'm guessing we strike out on Harris & Allen simply because they could go other places and have a greater chance to start early and also they don't have a stud 2015 (A&M will surely land a stud) coming right behind.

Unless Harris is looking to lead a life of crime, I don't see how LSU is much of a threat.

What kind of chance do we have at Harris, considering guys like LeagueCityTiger have likely been in his ear badmouthing LSU for the last few months for not offering him

He's so mad that we call him out on his pure stupidity.
eta: I now see it isn't Hamm that is saying that, but I wouldn't be surprised if that same thought isn't in the back of his mind
Someone should remind him of Yemi Babalola, who tied two guys up in an apartment and robbed them because he received bad drugs from them. Or how about the great Darren Lewis, if he can even remember A&M football that far back.
Or let's go even more current, Heisman winner Johnny Manziel. And that's just the main name people. I know I'm forgetting a few others, but it's funny how he thinks A&M shits gold

Thats like saying why would a top D-Lineman or DB come to LSU when the competition is much tougher

anyone have an inside info. on how interested LSU really is in Harris. for ex. if we are only taking 1 qb this year, would we still take a commitment from rudolph at anyn time.

no one knows yet as this just shook things up in the last 24 hours. We'll probably find out more this weekend.
