Well, seeing what we did with mingo and how Daniele hunter is working out, has to have him pleased and anxious!

UGA wants him for an OLB. I'm pretty sure Florida too.

Meaning, the mingo angle might be appealing to him. And since the brick is talking to him, I'm most certain that it's what's bring said.

As long as the Tigers are first in the Lorenzo Carter sweepstakes by NSD, then they could push Bama for the top overall signing class.

Not if 247 has anything to say about it.

Ray Drew part deaux

Haley will relate to Carter and put forth a valiant effort, but LSU probably won't get this one.

I see no reason at all we couldn't land him. The staff has proven that they will play freshmen who are worthy AND last year's DL was in need of more depth for sure.

Hell, if the hype about his being like Mingo is accurate, then he definitely would have a chance to play early after watching our lack of penetration when we weren't blitzing this year.

This is what I like to see.

Usually, you hear the opposite from recruits, but this has me excited.

I know right! He can occasionally reel in an overachieving four or three star guy and hope to coach em up. I am so ready to see us get a young phenom that takes the field as a freshman and tears it up for three years.

Brick doing work!

Btw, part of the reason LSU has highest paid assistants (which will go up as Cam's raises kick in). Can't afford to lose a Brick Haley to another team as DC or a Frank Wilson as a OC/HC.

At most schools that coaching attrition is inevitable, as it is at LSU. But partly due to pay, partly due to CLM management/environment (and Alleva????) LSU has done a helluva job retaining the guys they need to retain.

No comment on the opposite however (shedding guys not worth keeping). Guess the two might affect each other. Not convinced of that.
