They ranked JK Johnson. We're #1 now & still haven't gotten Ovie ranked yet.

That’s exactly right, we have talent out the wahzoo,
Womack- maybe best Edge in 23
Weeks - shot up to Top 10 LB, how u might ask because we were glad we got him, but not overly excited, but he earned it by being dominant against the best in AA game
J Brown - I was pissed when he dropped to 4*
But he’s another that made the analyst change their mind, where? on the field AA game
Heard- we knew but climbed the whole year to be the top recruit in our class 5*
Pimp - transferred high schools and changed their season, staff recognized it early flipped him, best TE at the AA game
A Stamps - is probably the lowest ranked recruit, but has enough talent to prove his critics wrong and he will. IMHO he’s the hidden gem of the class.
You could go on and on but this staff zeroed in on these guys early, evaluated them outstandingly. Everyone of this kids played their way up. We are definitely in good hands, my biggest concern was Can CBK recruit? Well I was skeptical, but I will have no doubt or apprehensions from now on. This Coach and staff can do it all.

Don't see the need yet for a new thread, but ESPN has released their Final rankings for 2023.

Weeks and Pimpton are now officially 4* on ESPN, and should be consensus 4* once Rivals reveals their full top 250 rankings tomorrow.

Rivals also teased their 5* list and Zalence Heard is now a 5* on Rivals moving up to the #27 player in the country!

(Free article)

27. OL ZALANCE HEARD (LSU)

Gorney's Take: If there is a comp for Zalance Heard, it’s D.J. Fluker, who was not perfect at an all-star event but is just a massive human being, went to the SEC and ended up as a first-round pick. Heard still has room for growth and split some reps at the Under Armour Game but he has all the physical tools and ability to be special at LSU. The Monroe (La.) Neville standout moved up to five-star status based on how he looks and his projection there, plus his ability to extend his arms and pin defensive linemen back and his footwork that continues to get better.

That’s awesome! Rivals is always behind and basically just copycats. But good to see Zalance getting his flowers

Yep, I'm definitely noticing that. I had to laugh a little bit at their write-up for Arch Manning.

1. QB ARCH MANNING (Texas)

Gorney's Take: Arch Manning did not do any Rivals camps, he did not compete at the Elite 11, he played in no national 7on7 tournaments and he declined to play in any of the postseason all-star games. That is not ideal but it still does not take away from the fact that the Texas signee has tremendous ability, outstanding upside and a pedigree that cannot – and has not – been ignored. Others pushed but Manning stayed at No. 1.

And their #2
2. QB NICO IAMALEAVA (Tennessee)

Gorney's Take: There is no quarterback – maybe no player – as dynamic as Nico Iamaleava, who has such incredible tools that will be honed by Tennessee coach Josh Heupel and his staff to make him an even more dominant player. Iamaleava effortlessly gets the ball all over the field. He’s a phenomenal athlete, a super competitor and the early returns out of Knoxville have been nothing but positive.

UTe keeps improving and you’ll see how fast Alabama gets the permanent opponent concept changed. I know we will have some form of redistricting when we get the newest refugees, but there is no way the Gumps want to play a revitalized Tenner every year.
