I don't think his mom would have been mistreated on either visit. He's made a decision and he's going to validate that decision in his mind no matter how good the other staff was.

Well we still have the in-home visit. If Hootie is being truthful in his motivations, then Les can make up that ground with mama Hootie tomorrow IMO.

All this blaming the LSU coaches for dropping the ball need to step back and think for a second. Jones is a big time prospect and we are fighting for him with Bama. You really think LSU just dropped the ball on this one. Just because a recruit that is going to bama says so? THINK

For record I've never said coaches dropped the ball...I said mom supposingly had good time but hootie didn't like that she was left alone couple times...don't know who handles parent tour

I think they mean that the staff didnt pay enough attention to her, she probably felt "pushed off to the side". They probably chatted a little more with the other players and their families than with hooties mom. Didnt really mean she was left alone. Probably was something they did intentionally. Hopefully the meeting tomorrow can smooth out this misunderstanding if true.

I would have to believe that is the case also unfortunately. It just looks like one last shot type of thing. Hopefully I am wrong, but I wouldn't bet anything you don't want to lose on this one.
If he does choose Bama it will just suck to know what Bama has done in Monroe one of LSU's strongest recruiting centers for so long.

i see today's visit as a very good sign.
don't forget who we're talking about, a 18 year old kid. feelings were likely hurt, whatever. point is, if he was not inclined to chose LSU, he wouldnt allow an in home visit. doing so shows he's open and likely open and predisposed to LSU.
if he's bama bound, why would he want to subject himself to this ... especially given all he's done doesnt indicate he's an attention whore.

I have absolutely no evidence to back this up, by I truly feel like we get this kid. I feel as though, while not an attention whore, the info being "leaked" is intended to throw everyone off and he signs with LSU. Call me crazy but that's my gut.
