I’m most worried about bars.

I think we will be fine IMO. I'm fully confident we will get great routines from Zoe and Chio from the get go
How they develop Lincoln, Zeiss, Drayton, Coen on bars will be interesting but there is no shortage of talent not to have a really strong bars lineup. Just have to get experience.
LSU will be counting on a lot of the young talent next year. We may take some lumps with new faces in spots but peak come post season is what matters and getting enough quality RQS scores for good seeding

I agree. Lexi's elite bar routine was her highest score at championships, 13.55. With it watered down and concentration on handstands and pointed toes she should get a very usable score. Lincoln's bar routine was definitely an improvement and should be usable being scaled down from elite.

Article in The Advocate says that Kiya is going to work for ESPN. I wonder in what capacity, great opportunity for her either way.

Good chance Konnor can do beam and bars this season. That big!!!
I don’t worry about floor and vault, we got the horses. This is big for us though

Tigerbait357 have you heard which recruits are interested in visiting LSU?

LSU is in contact with Helzy Rivera, Presley Duke, Jayla Hang,Dulcy Caylor, Madray Johnson, Audrey Synder, Izzy Stassi, Zoey Molomo, Evey Lowe and a couple other L10s
Not sure about Simone Rose but I like her a lot and hope they are with her.
Helzy is the #1 target but some seem to think Florida has the inside track right now but LSU is in her top group and will be on campus later this year

She might want to pump the brakes on fla. and see how Jenny manages this year. She could make a team with just 6 of her gymnasts and leave the rest. Leanne, Kayla, Sloan, skye, Selena, and Anya. I’m super interested to see how she manages this season.
Who do you want most tiger357? Whose gymnastics will translate to ncaa success the most?

Maybe she’ll be an announcer. She can’t be worse than the ok girl was.

Jay and Haleigh are nominated for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Awards for 2024. Fans can vote once daily for Haleigh and Jay on lsusports.net on the gymnastics page.

How would yall feel about having Jayla Hang in the 2026 class? Really really good

I think she would be an excellent choice and hope that LSU has her as a target recruit.
Ella Kate Parker a Louisiana girl is also in the class of 2026. I wonder if LSU is going to recruit her. She is a good vault and beam worker. This is her vault at L10 Nationals 2024.

Coaches have been flying up to her gym to see her train

What's the scholarship situation like for the class of 2026? From my count, we'll only have two scholarships (with Annie and Bryce graduating in 2026). If that's correct, I don't see us offering Ella Kate Parker unless she is okay with being a walk-on. My dream class would be any combination of Presley Duke, Jayla Hang, Hezly Rivera, or Izzy Stassi.

Someone said Bryce was a walk on earlier but that may be incorrect. I hope Bryce gets to compete some this year since she competed very little in her Freshman year and none in her sophomore year. She was a nice beam worker.

One of my favorite moments from the 2023 season was Bryce's floor exhibition against West Virginia. After nailing that routine, she just looked so happy at that moment. I think injuries and consistency have prevented her from making lineups. Hoping she can make more of an impact this year!

Does anyone know what that countdown was about that was posted on LSU Gym social media last week? The day has passed and I’ve been watching for some news or announcement, but haven’t seen anything.

Probably until they could start reaching out to class of 2026

That’s exactly what it was for. Given the context clues leading up to that date and the video posted on the 15th
