She is ill according to LSUGymVoice on X. (But if she’s ill why would she be around teammates?)
Who would take her spots…aleah on bars and Sav/Livvy on beam? Don’t trust Annie there.
Also read that Konnor warmed up a Servente on vault (the tucked vault Grace McCallum does with flexed feet)

Tatum's bars have looked ROUGH this year in the times ive seen it. You have to put Aleah in on bars and pray she hits the landing.
As for beam, obviously Sav/Dunne will likely take the spot. Jay may give it to Sav purely because she has more experience but it wouldn't shock me if either competed

Would love to see Konnor on vault. Fills not scoring well today just as I thought.

| Because of the new quad meet rotation order, it really doesn’t matter anymore |
I didn’t really want to follow them after bars and beam. Judges compare.

Id love to have Konnor in on vault but for her to not even compete it all year Im not sure they would put it out there all of a sudden unless the practices/warm ups are going that well

Yeah and that’s even at PAC 12 and Big 10. Judges aren’t here for these Yfulls.

Alexis is not dressed out.

Someone on Twitter said Livvy is in on beam. Can someone confirm this? Or is she just warming up beam?

It appears Sav will take the open spot on Beam.

Judges were super stiff today compared to BigTen, Big XII and Pac12, and the team wasn't the cleanest, and they STILL took home the SEC Championship and took a share in every single SEC title.
Scary part is the girls still haven't had THAT meet yet where it all is put together and had that complete meet, that is how good they can be. I maintain they are the only team capable of challenging the OU machine
the clock struck midnight and Cal turned into a pumpkin, as some predicated a few pages ago.

Curious what bugs will do with beam going forward. Back to Alexis or stay with sav? Also disappointed in bars landings. Jay that’s your event, clean it up! Ashley girl, way to go!!

One thing - even though it is silly - I cannot stand Kentucky. Ever since the great beam cap debacle I want to pulverize them every time we compete against them. And I very much would like to avoid directly competing with them again this year (which I think should happen given that we will pull ahead of cal in the final rankings)

Yes I too am upset about the bar landings BUT (in lineup order):
1. Kiya: makes sense to be upset about since she usually sticks her dismount whether she’s first or third in the lineup
2. Ash: dead on so no need to critique it
3. Livvy: her first competitive routine on that event this year. I personally think it should’ve been Aleah instead but still we should offer her some grace in that regard
4. Konnor: just relearned that dismount this year and is trying to get it consistent with the other aspects of her routine. If something is off in her routine, she doesn’t stick and the opposite is true when she’s dead on
5. Sav: I don’t have any reason to explain why she didn’t stick other than saying that her entire routine looked just a little bit off.
6. Haleigh: Fluke step on her double front half (also the only landing she didn’t stick in this meet so I feel like we shouldn’t be too hard on her.
All these things are easily fixable heading regionals though

Unfortunately for you, our road to nationals will most likely have us competing in Arkansas directly against them in the finals should both teams make it through to the final day of competition
Posted on 3/24/24 at 12:41 am to lsugymfann
That should flip because we will move ahead of cal and bring us back to the Michigan rather than Arkansas site.
Posted on 3/24/24 at 12:57 am to LSUgymfan420
That’s actually incorrect due to the sole fact that 2/4 of the 9-12 seeds are hosts (Arkansas and Michigan) so they need to move them around to make sure they aren’t attending another regional. The only way that works is for ucla and msu to be at either cal or Florida
Posted on 3/24/24 at 1:38 am to lsugymfann
Maybe we will still be in Arkansas but by virtue of being 2 we should no longer have the same regional seeding that included Kentucky and Auburn, assuming that their rankings stay the same.
Posted on 3/24/24 at 1:44 am to LSUgymfan420
Kentucky dropped down to 7 from 6 and Auburn stayed the same so based on how seeding always works, because we moved up to 2, we’re still in the same regional as Kentucky. Auburn stayed at 14 and Minnesota at 15 so we’re no longer facing Auburn at regionals but now have Minnesota. Those are the 4 seeded teams in our regional: us (2), Kentucky (7) Arkansas (12) and Minnesota (15) as per road to nationals’ rankings last week and this week
Posted on 3/24/24 at 8:27 am to lsugymfann
Kentucky and Arkansas don't scare me in the least. Bring them on. The only way they can beat LSU is if we count a fall, and if we are counting falls this time of year then it was never meant to be.
