I think LSU lands him personally. He has been heavily trending this way and if he came, I think his final position probably ends up at CB or WR. He might be too good to keep the ball out of his hands. I don't think he's going to be a S but I guess that's possible too especially FS. He might end up at S so he can zone the field with his playmaking ability on the ball.

I think one also has to consider that no matter what they say publicly (and privately), Jimbo is on shakey ground at A&M. They are paying him a shitload of money and he has produced results at best equal, and arguably worse than Kevin Sumlin. At least Sumlin never had a losing season.

This is year 2 of the "best recruiting class money can buy". I'd imagine the boosters are expecting a significant ROI this year. If he turns in another 8 win or less season I can't imagine there will by many among the ranks that want to keep him around.

Not money (yet). Hes just a small town East Texas kid and A&M makes the most sense in terms of culture and proximity. I think its a bad sign for them that he doesnt seem more in love with the place.

It’s almost 3 hours from his town to college station and just over four hours from home to BR. Not a huge difference as far as travel for his family. I’m holding out hope we can beat A$M for either Bussey or Blake Ivy.

Bussey isnt all that close to committing to A&M. I can see him at LSU for sure.

He reminds me of Ed Reed. Just a do it all athlete with a football intelligence many dont have at the HS level. Would hate to be playing against him, rather him in P&G. We have a legitmate shot.

We’re trying to rally at the end. Local kid that’s a stud. I just think he’s more comfortable at A&M

Have to question the mental toughness to be "comfortable" at A&M.

Comfortable not winning anything of significance?

Being in a cult?

Playing for a HC hot seat?

You said it yourself.

aTm is just an ATM to these kids. There really isn’t much else to latch on to there.

To prevent folk from wasting their time getting their hopes up, When one of the Tx schools will just drop a bag. Duhram was a different story, because it was between OU and LSU. At LSU he’s the only RB we’re taking. While OU already has a highly ranked RB committed.

Thank you for saving us all the 4 seconds of our day where we may be optimistic about a recruit for LSU.

Kid is really good! He got injured recently. Knee injury but it’s not serious. He will miss the first 4 weeks of the season. But they are one of the favorites to win state in their class. They have some other good kids on that team. Not Bussey or LSU caliber, but they are talented.
