Except to do that and not have it be a disaster you need guards who are fast and athletic, which we don't have, you need forwards who can finish on the break, which we don't have, you need people who can hit open threes on the move so you can kick it out to them in transition, and we don't have that either.
I would love it if we could go play 40 minutes of hell on somebody. I always thought that's a style of play that would fit us geographically because quick little guards are what you can sign a ton of in Louisiana.
But our personnel couldn't be worse for that style of play. With what we've got we have to slow things down and execute sets or we'll never score. Not to mention our backcourt is straight poo on defense other than maybe Hannibal.

Who are the two grad level bigs who are visiting this week? I saw a vague mention of that in a SI online article that was about Phillips entering the portal. Any information?

Well considering Xavier, Arkansas, Alabama, Michigan, and UCLA all had interest in Mack, I'm going to go with their opinions and say he would be a great pick up

And let’s just ignore your last big man scout saying Kj was trash and wouldn’t be a productive SEC player. Or that you trashed Jalen Cook the entire time he was here saying he wasn’t good enough to play for LSU and then reversed course and now pretend you’ve always touted him. I hope it works out but I don’t see it. I just want the false narratives to stop. Last year at this time people were raving over the “talent” McMahon was bringing in then we started losing and those same people blamed the players.

Will Baker will be on campus this weekend . Played at Nevada last season , and was a former top 50 recruit that signed with texas out of high school . Seems like a guy that would help and fits the mold of a McMahon big man . Jalen cook should be making it official very soon also

I’ll be the first one to admit the results were disappointing and he’s got to do better. I was optimistic and thought we’d do much better.
