Potentially both.

Wilkinson told to look elsewhere Mwani just doesn’t bring enough to the table.
Anything is possible with Wade. He will do what’s best for the program.
However, I don’t think Wilkinson would be one to go and is certainly not an obvious choice. Wade loves Wilkinson’s upside and talked him up most of last season. Not to mention that him leaving for that reason would be just as much of an indictment on Wade and staff. Wilkinson was a top 75 player, I believe; so if he isn’t developing then the coaches are also to blame.

Is ezewiro still definitely part of the incoming class?
He certainly seems to think so. His recent social media posts are that he is still all LSU.
I trust Wade and know he’ll do what’s best. And I don’t think Ezewiro will ever really be a contributor here. But I’ll feel bad for the guy, especially the closer to the summer it gets if he is told that LSU doesn’t have a scholarship for him when he has remained committed here for almost 2 years.

Hard to tell an Oak Hill Academy kid to take a hike if you want to turn that into a pipeline.

That’s a fair statement; however, I just don’t see how Wade avoids it IF he gets the additional players that people are saying he will get and possibly have Days come back.
Although, I think Ezewiro was only at Oak Hill 1 season and that was 2 years ago. Spent this past year at a prep school. So I’m not sure how much allegiance Oak Hill would have to him as a former player.

Of this list, here is what I believe would be the most likely grouping of candidates to possibly transfer/cut loose:
Josh Gray
Bradley Ezewiro
Josh LeBlanc
Mwani Wilkinson
If LSU gets 1 of the possible 3, then Gray becomes the pretty easy choice, especially if that 1 is either Mitchell or Reid. If the 1 is Days, then Gray is maybe not quite so clear-cut of an option.
If LSU gets 2, then Gray is definitely 1 to go and probably Ezewiro is cut loose. I just can't see Wade running Wilkinson or LeBlanc off. Maybe another player sees the writing on the wall with all of what is coming in and just realizes their opportunities will be limited and therefore make the decision themselves to transfer, which those I listed above could fall into that category.

Updated to add Adam Miller to projected roster and Sports Reference profile. Also added Sports Reference profile for Tre Mitchell and 247 link for Efton Reid. LSU is currently at 13 guys so any new commits or anyone coming back will result in another transfer, I think most likely transfers are in order: Gray, Wilkinson, Ezewiro.

Josh Gray in the portal, making room already

I think Wilkinson keeps his spot but that’s just a guess.

After the Grey news, we'll be looking really deep in a day or two.

Wade mentioned Mwani in Cullota interview
We've got some really, really talented young guys in Eric Gaines, Mwani (Wilkinson), Alex Fudge. We're really, really excited about those guys and we certainly want to do everything we can to keep those guys with us while adding some guys around them.

Mwani isnt going anywhere..He is the likely starter at SF. We could send a player or 2 to a Juco for a year then bring them back. We know for sure Days will be gone after next season. If Reid or Mitchell comes they may well be one and done. You could stash Ezewiro at a juco for a year then he returns after Reid or Mitchell leaves.

I don't have any inside information, but based on the oddity of it and some of Wade's comments this past year, I assume the relationship with Heiar soured. If not, then his program might be a good place to stash him/them.

Hopefully it is just for this cycle due to the "panicdemic" circumstances, but in essence we may be embarking on a new means of "one and done" in college basketball. We have MANY teams throughout the nation who are in large part overturning their rosters from this past season. It is almost unbelievable to think this LSU team had FIVE non-Senior starters and will likely have to replace ALL five going into next season. And many of the guys coming in/rumored to potentially come in will likely have plans to move on after one season in BR...thus causing the cycle to continue. It may damn near be a "rebuilding" year every year
I understand everyone's (players and coaches) individual self interests, but it still doesn't help the college game as a whole. Hell, it is entirely possible LSU may not have another jersey retired for decades because anyone potentially good enough to eventually earn that honor won't be here long enough to do so.

I believe we will be turning 75% of the roster over each year from now on. Also, a million bonus points for spelling "panicdemic" correctly. That's EXACTLY what this has been from day one.

Somehow, those guys have the best sources inside LSU. They broke Gilbert, and Finley and I’m pretty sure Adam Miller too
