Also, there were some replies from Memphis fans that were calling the writer a hack, so I'm guessing he gives everything a homer slant and they're tired of it

I'm not huge on conspiracy theories, but I think it's Calipari pulling Vitale's strings on all this personally. Don't look any further than the last letter of their names. Italian mafia.
Vitale
Calipari
Pitino
Lest we forget that yahoo report coming out right after the UK game 2 years ago when we beat them at Rupp.

I’m starting to think we don’t get him. I hope like hell that I’m wrong and I have no inside track, just a feeling.

I still think we land him.

I hope you’re right.

According to the Memphis Comercial Appeal Newspaper, "Moussa Cisse, the five-star Memphis basketball target, says his mind isn't made up as national analysts predict."

That’s the article I was referencing. Seems odd that he was ready to commit, then delayed because of protests, but now hasn’t decided a favorite. Telling you guys, where there is smoke...

There's also Memphis fans who are tired of that writer's articles, so I think he also puts a huge homer slant on most of his pieces. I would take any article with a grain of salt

Not saying it isn't true, but this would be a very odd thing for Cisse to want publicly said. I mean, he is the one who said 2 weeks ago that he would be making his announcement the following week, which was last week. This would imply that he had a decision made. Then he states at the end of last week that his only reason for not announcing his decision (again, implying that decision has been made) was because he didn't feel it was the right time as he didn't want to pull focus away from the protests and national discussion taking place, which is perfectly justifiable and respectful.
But now he is saying that his "mind isn't made up"? So if that is true that his mind isn't made up, then why was he ready to announce a decision last week? Obviously something more than the protests caused him to delay and rethink his decision.
Obviously I know what the reasons would or could be. My point is that this quote would be an odd one to go public with as it makes his comments last Friday about delaying his announcement a bit disingenuous. He could have simply said, "I feel as though I need a little more time to visit with my family on my decision regarding my future and I also do not feel as though now is the appropriate time to make an announcement and detract from the larger social issues and conversations taking place in our country."

So now it is Hyatt, Cisse, and Gray for the last 2 spots on roster...correct?

Provided Days, Smart, and Watford all return, then yes.

Talked to my source the other day about Cisse and NBA guys, he said "he hopes" in regards to Cisse coming back and thinks "everyone but Williams" in regards to NBA guys.

So it sounds like Cisse is back to a toss up...
I know this is cruel to say, but I hope Dicky V kicks the fricking bucket soon. This dude has been a driving force in trying to ruin Wade and now our program, and I’m really getting fed up with it.

You have a tin foil hat or no?

You don’t think Vitale has some sort of an agenda here whether his own or someone else’s?

Dicky V is on a war path for Wade...not sure how that is even debatable at this point. Whether that has any effect on Cisse or not, I don't know. I have to think people in his camp are a little turned off by all the negative press.
If we end up without Cisse and if Watford goes pro, our front court could be very very weak

Of course he does
Him holding off his commitment was never about protests
