I wonder what Todd's number will be with Jalen Green getting $500K or if it's going to be a uniform $500K for any major recruit

That's no fair. Do we get a chance to counter?

ETA: We also just picked up a CB for Josh Gray. Wonder if the two are related?

He’s just been contacted he’s still likely to attend college.

He's supposedly a backup plan for Frank Anselem, not Moussa Cisse, but it could work out that way still.

WW just said live on ESPN Radio that "we're not done yet" with the 2020 class (which is not new).

Then added that we could get good news this weekend about a player that would add some length... So maybe Anselem committing this weekend?

I would think so, but wouldn't be surprised if it's Gray either.

I’d think Gray isn’t officially “committable” yet until Williams, Watford, Anselem figure out their decisions.

Interesting, but if we ended with Anselem and Gray, I'd be thrilled.

Still listening in... definitely sounds like he thinks we're adding two more to the class. Was kinda mum on if he thinks anyone from the current roster is going NBA or not

If Gray comes on board it's because they know Anselem or Cisse told them they arent in, I think that's the only case obviously.

Went to a lunch with WW. He said we would sign one or two more and that one was already committed just not publicly.

I took it as Anslem.

Listening to Wade talk on the latest Boot Up podcast has me really excited about Wilkinson. He couldn't talk enough about how hard of a worker he is.

Those are the guys you want in Wade’s system.

I listened as well. Good stuff and I’m pumped about this class. But after listening to Wade hype James Bishop in the same way last summer, I won’t read too much into those comments.

It was interesting to hear him specifically trying to get a couple big guys. Gotta be talking about Anselem and Cisse. Corey Evans recently said Cisse was 75/25 to go to college next season and that LSU was the team to beat. Memphis will really melt if we steal him, especially after losing Jalen Green.

Definitely. He's obviously going to talk every guy up so it can be very misleading.

I was intrigued when he said he's going to try to get Javonte working off the ball next year. He's certainly a capable point guard, but off the ball is where he seems more comfortable. I wonder who he has in mind to run the offense during those stretches/plays. Is that Manning?

From what I'm understanding from you guys and reading between the lines on the podcast, it seems like Gaines is a redshirt candidate and Cook is more of a scorer.

Just trying to figure out who is running the offense when Javonte is on the bench or working off of the ball. Didn't see Manning do much of it last year, but that certainly doesn't mean he's not capable.

Wade obviously will hype up guys because that's what you do to instill confidence (Mr. "Sharpshooter" Aundre Hyatt ), but I dont think he was really wrong on Bishop. Keep in mind Bishop they said was battling injury for a large part of the season which is why he didn't play much. Yes he transferred out and that could be due to multiple reasons, but I think Bishop will be a guy we look back on in a year or two and say, wow he turned out pretty well. Kid has some game and scoring ability. I think he will be a long time starter at George Washington U.

75 towards the good guys?

Also, Billy put a CB in for Josh Gray.

I wound up going down the Josh Gray wormhole of watching G-League highlights from our former guard instead of finding highlights for the big

Gray now has 3 CB's to LSU, so that means either Anselem or Cisse is going elsewhere.
