So if everyone we think will reclassify does reclassify, and we want to get 2 out of 3 with Anselem, Cisse, or Kuminga, how would we make enough roster spots/scholarship spots if most or all of our current players stay another year? Do we just tell our lesser current players (Cooper or Hyatt) to go frick themselves?

If we brought in 9 new players the returning players would probably be Watford, Days, Smart and Manning.

If we bring in 8 new players, returning players would be Watford, Days, Smart, Manning and either Bishop or Hyatt.

If we bring in just the 7 players we have now, returning players would be Watford, Days, Smart, Manning, Bishop and Hyatt.

If Watford went pro too, then add in Cooper in the 7 clause, take both Bishop and Hyatt in the 8 clause and either Bishop or Hyatt in the 9 clause.

I really like this to set us up well for next year, obviously if you can get a big stud you get him but until then this is a good combo of guys who been through it and fresh talent.

Depending on Leblanc and Shareef we could even redshirt Ezwiro(Which I think is the plan).

Yeah Ezewiro is a redshirt candidate for sure I think regardless. I think we'll get at least 1 of Anselem or Cisse, both would be insane, but even just 1 would make this roster really formidable for next year, Cisse more than Anselem in that sense (and beyond).

Is Leblanc more of a wing or post player? Trying to wrap my mind around where all of our depth is.

Updated as of 3/4/20. Talked to my source the other day and expect Williams and probably Watford to leave along with Cooper. Expect Smart, Days, Hyatt, Manning, and Bishop to all return next year if only Anselem is added to this class. As of now the only player I see being added to this class is Anselem. If they add anyone beyond him expect Bishop most likely to leave. If they end up not adding anyone expect Cooper to be back for depth purposes.
My Projected Scholarship Players for 2020-2021 Season:
Javonte Smart
Jalen Cook
James Bishop
Eric Gaines
Cameron Thomas
Charles Manning
Darius Days
Josh LeBlanc
Aundre Hyatt
Mwani Wilkinson
Shareef O'Neal
Bradle Ezewiro
Frank Anselem

Leblanc is a post player, 4 and 5 position, O'Neal is a 3, 4 and 5 college player

Watford should be back, he's not really projected on any draft boards much right now. Family said he would only leave if he got strong 1st round interest.

That would be a nasty deep roster.

You have to take that with a grain of salt. There could be a team saying they LOVE him and want him with their 2nd pick early 2nd round and he's a perfect fit blah blah blah. I just think if he's borderline 1st/2nd he's going to go. Families can say that, but when they're looking at a signing bonus, and the kid doesn't have to go to school anymore, it all gets sexier.

Ya know, we keep forgetting about Jordan Toles. Obviously scholarship for football, but considering he's a walk-on that's a great free addition

So not optimistic about Cisse or Kuminga?

Its not going to work out. It never does. Fans get titillated when their gridiron warrior appears but there is too much to absorb and develop and they simply don't contribute. Toles likely won't ever suit up for basketball.

He might not play, but I can almost promise you he will suit up at least his freshman year. Part of the main reason he’s coming to LSU is because of the relationship with both coaches, and they’re promise to him that he can play both sports.

We still are not even on Kuminga's list of schools so not optimistic with him. Cisse I'm more optimistic though.

The top recruiting analyst I know of says LSU is in a great spot for Cisse.
