Nope not with Larson and Brown getting the majority of the starts the last month of the season. Heck he even trotted Bingham out there in the SEC Tournament.

For CF next year it looks like Brown, Harden, Cooley, and Curiel.

Brown could be a pitcher (though that's not likely).

Harden is more of a long term project.

Cooley is a complete unknown.

And Curiel may not make it to campus.

The recent portal follow Kyle Jones from Stetson looks like a promising candidate.

ETA: And Mic Paul, but he doesn't seem to be on track to make much of a contribution.

Any chance in hell that Cannarella kid enters the portal?

I doubt it. Unless Texas goes after Bakich. He shopped himself a little last year, but never actually entered.

That's what surprised me most. Bingham getting chances over Kling. Especially given Bingham was going to be gone after the season.

I've said this before but he is my favorite 50/50 recruit that I hope gets to campus. Some room for growth and strength with day 1 starting potential out of high school. Doing it at a high level at one of the top high schools in California.

Agree given it's the ACC, but also the guy is from South Carolina.

You had Montgomery from an Omaha Stanford team wanting to leave. However, he had good reasons.

Daniel Harden is playing for the Wasau Woodchucks in the Northwoods League this summer.

Kucherak has started his season there (for La Crosse) he's playing 2nd and SS. Hit a bomb last night.

Reaves is playing for Kenosha there, he's played 2B and 3B so far.

MJ Seo has been pitching a couple innings per appearance.

What position does he project to play in college?

He's a centerfielder all the way.

If that happens, I'd grab his hitting coach.

CF for sure. Think Antoine Duplantis except even more advanced than Duplantis was coming out of high school.

Haha because they could lose their coach to Texas. Pretty good reason and probably the only reason he would.

According to the South Carolina 247 guy, we hosted Zac Cowan (RHP Wofford) for a visit already. He also visited them and Miami.

Maybe that was the other Flemmings guy then. That guy on the rant never did follow through with who it was.

Cowan converted from SS and was the Ace of their staff if I'm remembering correctly.

Cowan would be great. RHP with a good change up.

110 innings of work in 2024 10-2 3.35 era 124 K's/29 BB's BA against .242 WHIP 1.19

Reminds me a bit of Tanner Hall from USM.

I find it interesting that Rooney was reportedly at the dinner with the recruit the other night. I wonder the timing of that dinner with respect to Rooney being a candidate for the job at South Carolina pitching coach if Cowan really has been on a visit to both USC and here.

Not sure how fast everything goes down with CPM getting the job and then hiring a pitching coach. Just interesting overlap potentially.
