I would like to revisit this when the dust settles from the weekend. I think Larson should be a 1B guy moving forward. He does not look natural tracking balls. He’s been fine but doesn’t have the look of a natural outfielder and is way less reliable than Brown.

I could be wrong, but he just doesn’t seem nearly as athletic as he looks. Doesn’t cover that much ground in the OF, doesn’t show any speed on the basepaths, average arm.
I think it would make a lot of sense for him to really try to bulk up this offseason and tap into some power. For him to take that next step, it’s going to have to come from him hitting homeruns and moving to 1b. If not, he’s just going to be another guy.

Forgot to send this in here last night cause got caught up in the game but noticed Schmidt in one of the shots they showed of the LSU crowd. Obviously doesn’t mean he’s coming to school but just worth noting. I said in the past on here that I heard he had no interest in coming to school but hoping things have changed
