Not sure if it’s been posted but Luke Holman and Tommy White are preaseason all-Americans by perfect game. White 1st, Holman 3rd. Ready for the season gentlemen.

I don’t normally post about HS guys we are looking at but aren’t committed because there are so many of them, but it looks like we’re interested in a Japanese high schooler in the 2025 class named Shotaro Morii. RHP/IF that’s interested in playing college ball in the US.

Don’t know if it’s been posted yet but LSU was just ranked with having the 2nd best transfer class, WF was 1 and Vols at 3.

I just noticed that Stephen Klein from Samford, a NOLA guy we kicked the tires on in the portal that had committed to Kentucky, is now at D2 Tampa. Not sure what happened with Kentucky, but I can imagine playing for a D2 powerhouse in Florida is preferable to playing for Mingeone.

I think the NCAA decided not to give him another year in D1. It was weird. Delgado, Samford, and Kentucky all tried to fight for him but it didn't work out.

They are. Always competing for the D2 crown. We've had guys transfer there before. I feel like there is a NOLA connection there or something.
On a different note, if anyone in the DFW Metroplex wants to watch some live games today, there are a bunch of JUCO scrimmages as Globe Life today and tomorrow I think.

Cade Arrambide interview. When asked about why he chose LSU and the MLB draft is coming up he doesnt even talk about MLB. Am I crazy to think we have a really good shot getting him on campus despite being ranked #10 overall by PG and #53 in the draft by MLB.com? Going to pass up a lot of money to come here but seems like he has some really strong ties here and he isnt a 1st rounder.

BA has him in the top 20 in their rankings. Top HS catcher, 2nd C overall.
Generally the biggest question about HS catchers is their ability to stay at the position in the minors and he gets rave reviews on his defense and arm.
