Agreed. I think your development guys need to be from LA. The plan for OOS recruits could be to at least find a niche role in year one and expect them to be gone in year 2 if they aren’t starting. That’s why I think it’s probably better to put more resources into less guys from out of state.
Having said all of that, Jay is probably 10x as smart as me, knows 100x more than me, has thought about this 1,000x more than I ever could. I’ll trust whatever plan he’s cooking up

That’s one spot on the left side of the infield set. Probably SS but even if the glove dips we can slide him to third and give Milam or another guy a shot at short
