He pitched against Mizzou early in the year and in 5 innings gave up 5 hits and 2 runs while striking 7 and walking just 1.

Other teams might have more "proven" commodities in their portal class, but if LSU lands Eyanson on top of what they already have, ours might be the highest upside class of all. Especially with guys like Sheerin, Mayers, and the aformentioned Eyanson.

Doesn't bother me. Pitchers can either pitch, or they can't. All those lefties this year, outside of Herring and Jump, didn't help. All I want to see is pitchers getting outs.

Eyanson is a California kid that played for San Diego. Small and not highly ranked out of high school. Grew a couple of inches, put on a few pounds and looks good now at 6'2" 195lb.

Actually its uc san diego. A team that had a helluva year and wouldve been in the mix to make regionals if they wouldve been eligible

If you get Herring back, it's not dire. One of your weekend starters will be a lefty(Anderson). That is around 5 innings a weekend handled by one lefty. Herring takes another five, that's a good chunk of the weekend.
The Juco kid has a tremendous opportunity to make an impact on the 2025 team.
