i called Ken trahan and he said Darrah was 18-21 in June only. But still had a great summer.

I do think LSU should be on him. I like the leverage he plays with and he still has some filling out to do. Will be a good college OF i believe

Brether, we need to catch a prep game next season. Burg and Cline had nice summer seasons for Rummel. Catholic League should be another dog fight. If this next year isn't BM's, they're going to have to wait a long while. The cupboard is drying up.

Agreed. He plays big already, looks like a man out there, and he's still wiry. I think the filling out will come fast. He works hard.

I'm pretty sure we've been following him. If you're LSU, you obviously prioritize the big national fish first but I believe Darrah is a guy that they could swoop in on with how the 25 class is shaping up.

You could’ve said that about Milam last year or Jake Brown. One was suppose to be a pitcher and the other was HORRIBLE in the fall. shite happens. These kids are ranked on potential. Milam was small but his numbers were ridiculous.

These situations are nowhere near the same + 95% of people in this thread knew Milam would contribute day 1 so that makes no sense. Also i’m putting zero thought into PG rankings like you are. Strictly going off of who will be in front of them when they get here and how their flaws (Hogg’s big time swing and miss problem) will translate. Neither will be a day 1 contributor unless we get bit by the injury bug or strikeout on every remaining portal target (which won’t happen)

I don’t know where you got 95% of people thought Milam would start day 1. Because he didn’t. Pearson was at 2nd base to open the season. Milam didn’t come around until right before SEC play if I can recall. Brown would spot play until end of our SEC schedule and SEC tournament. Point being sometimes it takes time for these freshman to get caught up to the pitching in college.

this popped up on my Youtube yesterday. Nick Coomes was 2-2 w/ a BB and a great defensive play.

I miss how good PM's teams were on defense. Loved the balance & mix of this team

I dunno why but that reminded me of that game he put 5 guys in the infield in extra innings or something. We got the out and went on to win the game.

Milam started game 2 of the season at 2nd base and never really looked back from there. He was batting something like .400 as an everyday starter before SEC play rolled around.

23. Dodgers: William Schmidt, RHP, Catholic HS, La. (No. 16) The Dodgers appear to want an arm here, and there’s some internal support for Schmidt, the top-ranked high school right-hander in our Top 250. Brecht could be the choice if they opt for a college pitcher.

Just to circle back to yesterday mornings conversation about Schmidt. MLB latest mock was done yesterday. Link below for anyone interested in the full mock.
